No. The reshoots were extensive and went beyond the scheduled time frame. Cavill did his scenes while he was still shooting for Mission Impossible 6, in which he has a mustache, and Paramount wouldn't allow him to shave it for the reshoots, so WB took the CGI-it-out option. It was a big 'ol 70's porn stache to.

This was tough. I really liked MOS, and I liked BvS, and obviously think WW is in my top five movies ever.
But ... this wasn’t good. Some parts were great, and some were terrible. The Superman resurrection was one of the worst things ever filmed in the history of mankind (surpassing Cannibal Holocaust). The Atlantis scene with Steppenwolf was the second worst thing ever filmed in the history of mankind. How fucking retarded, the whole thing looked idiotic and terrible. Amber Heard was wasted in this, and looked retarded.
The CGI was shit. Steppenwolf looked The Hobbit levels of bad. Like the shit white orcs, or whatever the dwarf at the end of BoTFA was called. The opening scene with the Parademon flying off with Batman looked horrible. A lot of it looked just bad.
The opening WW sequence was terrible, it missed the best things about how she fights. WW mentioning Steve Trevor over and over made me roll my eyes. Even the full screen of her ass in tight pants was retarded. But the good was she kept her with her unwaivering badass character.
Batman was great, human, well calculated. I love Batfleck. Flash was fucking awesome and all of his sequences were great and he was great comedy relief. Cyborg, at first I thought was terrible but then I like him, when I understood he’s basically Vision. What is the cube that went into him? Aquaman was awesome. Funny, believable, and entertaining.
This brings us to Superman. Who the fuck was he? He didn’t have the same personality, he was just different and completely unlikeable and honestly I would have rather the rest of the team solve problems without needing him. And again, the resurrection fight was so shit.
However, the JL (the team, not the movie) as a whole was great. Great chemistry, fun watching them fight, all really well cast, etc. I loved the Justice Leage team, but not the Justice Leage movie.

A 2 hour movie that just featured Gal Gadot swaying to and fro in slow motion on a toy pony would have been more consistently entertaining than this schlock.

And you could easily tell where Whedon's work was as well. Nearly all of the Superman scene's had creepy CGI face, so they were almost all entirely added in. Superman's personality in the final 20 minutes and post credit scene is a complete 180 from MoS and BvS and the Rez scene. Also Barry's jokes sandwiched in at weird moments. They added that whedon touch, but it was clearly in the middle of a Snyder Sandwich.
And, yeah, cutting that 40 minutes really made the movie even more of a mess.
The third McGuffin Box just ends up in the bad guys hands cause none of the heroes remember its important? And we don't even see it get grabbed, just a port in, port out? Clearly someone was like, "Fuck it, we gotta get to the next scene and Steppenwolf needs this box"
