Either way, they haven't even introduced Kang the Conqueror yet and only some vague foreshadowing that He Who Remains will even be in any way connected to some great bad. Even when they do, he's still much more Lex Luthor than he is Thanos

The series was structured like a novel and the final episode was a denouement, with the big climax in episode 5.
Might have tested well if they just ran the whole thing together as a 4.5 hour movie.

I watched the whole series in one sitting and thought he sounded like a retard. So congratulation, they ended the season with a 45 minute conversation with someone who was literally retarded after spending an infinite amount of time being retarded. And I use that in the literal sense of the word, not an insult. He mumbled, meandered, and was a mess. He didn't come off worn out, tired, consumed with the burden of knowledge and infinity, or whatever other description you want to throw. He came off mentally handicapped.

He Who Remains is really a metaphor for Obama who filled the oppressive time government (the fantasy version of the TSA meets the DMV meets the FBI) with diversity hires, and lied to them about everything to expand his own power! He uses his oppressive time police to spy on and try to imprison Loki, who is actually Trump, a reckless narcissist with tyrannical tendencies who just happens to be right about a few things. In the end, despite trying to undermine him the whole way, Kang/Obama is prepared to just hand the whole thing over to Loki/Trump without a fight, while Sylvie, who represents HILLARY CLINTON obviously, keeps trying to murder both of them, which was really her plan all along. In the end, Sylvary Clinton wins and all of Loki/Trump's allies pretend they don't even know the guy.
It's ackchyually quite based when you think about it.
