It's not all purple gifts, last count which should be accurate since it was yesterday before I went to bed was 12 relics(10 from adventure tome/random shit like sublime island and 2 from login boxes), 54 legendaries(various sources, some are event/welcome challenge/login boxes, some are weekly shop boxes, some are island quests and what not) and 286 epics, 81 of which are boxes which are islands/weekly shop and the rest is merchants and whatever other sources. That's a total of 327k rapport(estimation with the random purples being counted as 300rep but many are 450 or at least 330), which was roughly enough to cover the 340k I needed to do the remaining rapport for the 8 tokens counting the daily emotes/songs and the rapport gained from quests/dialogues and shit.

That said I did buy like 160 of these epics gifts in the past couple days, as well as 10 or so legendaries. I think I spent about 6-7m silver on gifts but I didn't count exactly, some of my silver dropped cause I was also upgrading chars at the same time and I also bought some cards including a Wei card, but today I did my full dailies and counted 800k silver gain so there was that at the same time. I'm at 4m silver atm so a fair amount.

Your math is a bit off on lopang and stuff. A T3 alt gets about 75k from lopang, and chaos gives almost the same amount. I have 4chars running lopang+chaos, 2 more running chaos but not lopang unas(although one is isteri which also gives ~20k silvers) and one that only does lopang no chaos, all T3. That was ~800k today so should be accurate. I guess a bit more since I do guild stuff on all of them so that's like 42k silvers gone and probably some repairs and shit.

Fun fact, I have 280k providence stones I forgot about so I could probably have saved a few millions. I could also have cashed in some pirate coins for some gifts, although that one's fine since I still need coins to buy masterpieces/sea bounties and also cards to try to get Solas cards.
I only mentioned Lopang as income. Running Lopang, Chaos and all that every day on 6+ characters would make me quit. I can barely be asked to do Chaos as much as I am already.

Regardless, I was giving you props for having will power. Lol

Oh nvm I see now you were saying per quest thought you were talking about 3x lopang giving 25k but yeah doesn't add up with your estimation so I read that wrong. Honestly chaos is pretty fast, lopang+chaos is like 10mins or so per char, so about an hour and I'm done with all of these, then I run guardian on just my main and sometimes alts with rested(so on average once every 3days although sometimes I can't be bothered) and that's basically it. Rest of the time is just doing shit like adventure islands or sailing or quests or whatever is up but lately I don't have much left to do that's why I did the merchant camping shit.

It took a lot longer back in the days to setup all that crap, and the amount of story quests and towers and unique unas on everyone including slow ass ones and all that, but ever since I've been mostly done/completely done it's fairly low time investment, I get all my shit cleared up quickly and then I have plenty of free time.

I honestly don't know how some of you are maintaining a dozen alts and shit. Even with the idea that Una+Chaos+Gaurdian or whatever is only 15-20min per character when you guys with a set of 12 characters that is still 4 hours a day of just alt maintenance let alone added shit your main might need. Kind of blows my mind a bit.

I've felt super broke basically forever, mostly because of the people we have that knew what they were doing and capitalized on the early game whales. Currently sitting at about 45k gold.

Was talking to some people in a group waiting for Drumbeat Isle today, and gold came up (since it awards some) and I asked how much they had. I think it was like 6k, 7k, and 12k.

I feel a lot less poor now. Although, I haven't really spent any on engravings or any gear whatsoever (I probably need a skin in the next couple days for Nineveh rep as I hit the 330 charisma block today).

There's been posts popping up on the official forums from players complaining about running out of gold and the lack of ways to earn it in game (without swiping) resulting from the influx of mats and more people hitting tier 3. Some of the poor deluded fools are calling it a design flaw and want it to be changed. They don't understand it's just another time gate and how the game makes its profit.

I feel like Gold is limited but I am in a similar boat as Gravel Gravel . I have about 40ish k gold. I have about 6k-ish blue crystals banked, and that is with me buying a couple of skins sets and things.

Still if we had a bit more guidance from some of your veteran players I feel like that could be 200-300k worth of gold, given that I feel like I have made damn near every mistake one can make as a new player from dismantling shit, to selling shit late, to not even knowing the AH, engravings, retard rocks for casino kids... you name it.

Even with that though as a fresh player doing the free to play thing I feel like I have enough to do what I need to do, granted I have spent to much time in this game the last month or so, so if I were to break down better uses of time. Could have done some extra work made way more cash and converted it at a 1000x+ type return for time spent I would cry.

Still I have enjoyed my time playing mostly, there have been a fair number of legitimate issues and complaints about the game but it has been a breath of fresh air to go blind into a new game, explore and learn, while shutting your brain off and grinding.

I have been maintaining around 100k gold on my main account for a while now, and have about 3k BC, that I bought once the price dropped below 450g. (I have about 35k gold on 2 alt accounts but can't use that for my main til i get around to making them trusted. 10k of that was from getting a big gold brick drop from a weekly Una chest today.) Except for a couple of legendary engravings I sold early on, and 2 legendary craft kits, about 24k gold from all that. Most of my gold has come from selling all tradeable leapstones and shard bags from day one (which I have told people to do multiple times when their price was high), selling most of my upgrade mats when I hit tier 3, and from crafting and selling fusions 2-3 times per day. I could have more, but I've barely been doing any chaos/guardians. I occasionally will do a chaos and the event shit and push up my GS slightly. I'm at like 1362 now. I am way too lazy to have bothered trying to sell ability stones and accessories.

Using blue crystals to buy skins is never a good idea. The skins you get for BC are untradeable and can't be dismantled (for skin crafting component. we don't have this functionality yet). It's always better to buy skins off the AH. Although they are still way overpriced, just like BC, and are taking way too long to get back to where they should be.

Gold is the most limited currency there is and I've probably said that about a million times any time the discussion has come up, in spite of the fact that with the gold farmers there was an absurd amount of abundance out there to begin with. We talked about selling all extra non bound materials a fuck ton, which trade skills can net early profit, etc. Our version of the game is/was also vastly different than every other version by a wide margin in terms of 'making gold', thus why it wasn't something that was easy to predict and set out a guide for. If we look to before the game launch, you'll see ad nauseum posts by myself & Raes talking about how big a deal it is that the NA East region has more servers (looking at my post history, there's several posts talking about the Auction House being the real game at the launch, including targeting whales for certain jewelry). Seriously. I talked about it non stop and Raes offered multiple tips in terms of making some early gold.

Here's one example from Feb 8th:

US East wins out from a purely 'winner' standpoint. There is literally more than the double the amount of East servers (7 vs 3) and in light of the AH being restricted by region this makes it the clear cut choice to go with (cannot emphasis enough that this is a traditional MMO from an AH point of view - there is a market to be played here with valuable items that people will sell for cheap not knowing their worth thus having more people to trade with is a rather big deal). Add in the fact that the ping difference is negligible on a game where people have been beating all the content in spite of the aforementioned ping, there is no argument apart from a personal desire to go West that makes any sense.

Tldr; roll East Regulus with us even if your preference is West as it's the 'correct' decision. The only real exception to this is if you're not looking to roll Regulus due to the fear of queue (which has been discussed ad nauseam already) but even still, you should be rolling East. We'll even be able to make a chat available for those in the same East Region (on different servers) in game.

On JP's version of the game, it was not uncommon for players to farm islands (such as Unknown Island) that gives 10-15 gold because currency was so limited. Most versions of the game at this stage, you were waiting on completing your Una's tasks for bags and spending all the gold immediately on honing (no one was limited by materials - it was always gold). This (thankfully) did not happen with our version of the game but that's legitimately how the game is built from the ground up: to make you want to swipe for gold and making it the currency that you want to obtain / master. Our version of the game has the least amount of gold requirement there is by far to offset this as they're smart enough to know the NA audience wouldn't stand for it. The requirements for honing is cut in half and then some. If you're sitting on 45k gold, you have enough gold to buy 3/3/3/1 accessories & upgrade all the way to 1400. You'd also be considered absurdly rich in early T3 KR, in that you have any gold that you're not spending immediately to hone gear. You're doing better than 99% of people but really, the only important aspect is that you're enjoying yourself while doing it and not burning out.

Almost all my gold making occurred early in the tiers by pushing ahead of everyone and stalking the AH 24/7 / undercutting and aspects that stem from being first. I'm not sure what type of guide I could have offered short of a billion word post that no one would have read relating to my thoughts & strategies on what would attract whales to overcommit to something that would drop in value drastically within a week or two - hell, some of my predictions were way off and if I could do it over again, I'd make a lot more as well. This wasn't a strategy or something to teach people though; it was literally about getting there first. That's true of every single MMO though: if you arrive to content before others, you make profit. If you read up about a game and learn the game before it launches and map out a strategy to maximize efficiency, odds are you're going to make profit. I must have done the 1-50 game half a dozen times before the launch to shave off a few minutes here and there (still proud of my Morai time) but that's certainly not something that people cared to ask about or that I would promote doing. I wasn't getting questions about 'gold making' at that stage of the game though (it wasn't until late T2 when people started questioning things like that and at that stage, the market was already pretty much exploited and in flux).
I take offense to that sentence in that, I've answered countless questions and posted on the subject prior to launch quite a bit. I've also probably ran in the vicinity of 100+ guardian carries for free (when I was running them for gold prior to nerfs), delayed my 1370+ progression by weeks to run content with people who were struggling, and answered about a zillion questions on engravings, how the AH works, etc. Really not certain what more additional help we could have been offering.

Didn't even need tips for gold tbh. Just not be in a rush to 1370+ and then sell everything you could. Was an easy 10-20k every single day for weeks if you had the alts to farm and that was just from majority T2 mats. I did get pretty fucked on the crash though as I had spent around 250k on skins for myself and to bank for the future and they aren't worth even 1/3 of that now, but I still have more gold than I could possibly need for the rest of the game if I don't do anything else stupid =[

It's hasn't been worth doing guardians daily for the last couple of weeks with leaps so cheap so anyone doing that is crazy =O.

With 7 chars I only do guardians on full rested just to do the weekly. Can clear through chaos and unas (5 char Lopang, 2 do whatever but I use the instant complete tickets for them) in around an hour. Abyssal takes me about 2 hours to do oreha on all chars one time a week assuming I don't get potato group members. This all generates around 25-30k a week in gold still with the price crashes and 6Mish in silver so it's super worth it without needing to worry about RNG drops to sell or really do anything else (screw chasing timed islands etc.) to bank for the future.

If it wasn't for PVP I'd be lucky to get more than 15 hours in for the week at this point which is baby hours for my standard MMO poopsocking and overall pretty dumb as I'd be happy to keep playing a ton and dropping bucks for char slots/skins for many more months if all the classes were available to play right now.

As it stands the market will be long dead by the time they decide to bring over the two classes I want to play most (reaper/lance master) so there won't even be any point in doing daily wizard chores and this turns into another "come back for new content game" or possibly forget about it completely if they stick to this weird release cadence for classes/content.

I wouldn't play 12, honestly 7 is what I have an it's basically the higher limit of what's playable for me imo, although because they're now "all done" as in all stories/towers cleared I've been considering getting another. Also my sorc(6th alt) I basically shelved, all I do now with her is login, open guild stuff, click the donate silver/help research, open una menu, take my 3 favorited lopang, bifrost to lopang, click the 3 terminals, bifrost to all 3 locations and mash G, then log out. It's literally like 3mins, including the loadings(which honestly is over half the time).

And as I said, I've dropped guardians a while back. At some point like 2-3 weeks ago or so? I didn't feel the time invested was worth the gold as the prices dropped and dropped further. I honestly hated it back when leapstones were 100+g because you HAD to do guardians it was just too much gold but having to do so many guardians a day was really fucking annoying especially in pubs. But now? Meh it's like 70g total for both guardian kills, I take the 33% loss and do a rested rotation which takes a third of the time instead. I've been doing dispatch too for when I'm lazy. It's absolutely shit value but it doesn't take any time and it's still a bit of gold.

So chaos+lopang+sometimes guardians, doesn't take really that much time. It's still time but I do like the change of pace of playing different classes anyway(like say in FFXIV I'll do daillies with different classes and then do raid with yet other ones and stuff, I always play several classes in that too, just it's one char).

But I do get the complaint, it wasn't fun every day looking at the bynark checklist and having to do everything and seeing it's like 5hours in, in the earlier days. But that "work" paid off by building up my account's overall power so I can now relax and do whatever I want. I have good gold income, good silver income, get a lot of mats everyday and just do what I like now. It pays off in the long run. It's kinda like my Astray, took a bunch of grinding, I would be so much "richer" if I didn't waste 25k sun coins and 450k pirate coins and whatever else on it, but now it's done, and I can afk half across the world in like 2mins with big speed and it feels nice. Although it's not that useful but I'm done with that and never have to think about it again and that's a good feeling for me in mmos.

13 alts total across 3 accounts here (5x T3 on main account, 3x T3 on second account, 3x T3 on third account, with two recent creations on the main account that are in T1, one that I'm still not really running anything on so really 12 total). I do Guardians on my main two characters and none of the others. Every character with the exception of my main / Berserker does Lopang and I use instant tickets + extra Una's for the aforementioned two characters since the drop in BC prices has let me stalk up heavily. With preemptive strike and duplicating keystrokes for the alt accounts, this is all done during my work calls in the AM.

From a time perspective: 4.5 minutes per chaos (x2) & 1.5 minutes per Lopang run = 10.5 minutes per alt x 12 = 126 minutes (this is actually a lot less since I'm counting each alt and some are done at the same time). Of course, there's some added time here and there for switching alts and frustrating when the alt account runs into some issues but really, the total amount of time spent doing this is about 2-3 hours a day and it's all insanely productive time from a profit / gear increase perspective.

Still doubt I will make a 2nd account anytime soon but if I ever did finding a way to box them would be the way to go. Is there any official policy on boxing in this game? For instance Blizzard actually was fine with it for ages but think that recently changed.

Given how little they seem to do about botting I can't imagine they give a shit about boxxing but who knows.

I've never actually cared enough to look into the policy. In light of how many bots are running around, I'd honestly laugh my ass off if I got banned for what I do. I'm sure there's language somewhere relating to software automation (the standard stuff) but I've boxed in EQ/WoW pretty extensively and never gotten into trouble since I avoid anything that plays the game for you.

They do ban bots a bunch but that's like pissing in the sea trying to raise the level kind of thing. That said multiboxing is against the ToS. If they want to bother looking into it or if you eat too many reports(multiboxing outside world) then you'd likely get accounts banned, but they probably don't have the staff to bother looking into it so it's really just the reports that'd get you. Don't multibox farm for like collectibles/adventure tome food and shit where ppl can see all your chars doing the same actions and acting like bots, but doing chaos should be no issue. If you trade gold a bunch though that might also flag you for RMT checks so it'd probably a good idea to only transfer gold every now and then.

Specifically the ToS says one account per person max, but they don't prevent you from playing with your family and such so it's not 1 account per IP, which means it's really if they check into it, or if easy anticheat flags whatever program you're using to duplicate keys, and it'd only do that if they start looking into it and add it to the stuff easyanticheat checks for. So yeah more or less no risk besides eating reports.

The ToS does not say anything at all about multiple accounts. The "rule" you are referring to is from several CM reply posts in a thread asking about this issue on the official forums. In no way, shape or form does that make it an actual rule. If AGS actually wanted this "rule" in the ToS they would add it, and make us agree to it again, as is always done when changes are made to that document.

Lancemaster switcheroo

Done reading it, still feels like slow updates, 1 class per month means some classes are 6+ months away. Feiton powerpass for lancemaster is nice, assuming it releases at the same time. Valtan for may means no real endgame content for the next 1.5month, since South Vern has no endgame content itself I believe(the bridge shit but that's not really endgame content, challenge guardians are coming in may and no word on the abyss dungeon special shit).
