All those labs trying to clone humans are now going to start cloning mammoth/human hybrids.

Edit - On a serious note sadly cloning will most likely not be possible even though the sample was frozen at about -10C. There is probably too much damage done to the DNA in the samples collected to produce a viable clone.

Countdown toMAMMOTHLand. A theme park/zoo where they sell Mammoth Burgers and Wooly-WearT brand clothing that "speaks to the wearer's ancient sensibilities of fashion and resourcefulness."

Most interesting aspect is the hypothesis that the blood contained some manner of anti-freeze (which is a trait in some cold-dwelling species).

It's absolutely amazing to think that there is a real possibility of bringing an extinct species back to life.

In other news, workers and scientist related to this project have suddenly fell ill to an unknown bacterium....

We drove the fuckers extinct once, I saw lets clone the shit out of them and then drive them to extinction again.

Make it into like a theme park

"Primitive Man In the Wild Real Life Survival Simulation"

For the low price of 80000 dollars per person, you get a wood spear with a freshly made spear tip, a torch, some flint and a toga made from deer skin.

And a shot at the killing blow on a 10,000 year old monster from a lost age.

You'll need to sign a safety waver, and we suggest doing your best to avoid the tusks.

They're also known to be kind of trampley. So avoid the feet too.

And avoid the butt. It won't kill you directly, but a face full of mammoth fart will make you wish you were dead. That stuff is like prehistoric nerve gas.

For a premium service we have some mexican boys you can use as bait. 125000 for an 8 hour rental. You break it you buy it rules apply.

I wonder what their forage was during the winter months. I can't imagine they could find enough to eat in a coniferous arctic forest like the Taiga.
