Loki on Disney+( not even subbed atm until Mandalorian season 2 comes out )and Doctor Strange 2 are the only must see for me on this list. Both in 2021. Going to be a odd 1.5-2 years counting time already lapsed with no Marvel for me.

dropped the ball on that one. could have been "must watch" TV.

liken it to the second coming of gal gadot's wonder woman.

instead they went with an inventor right? I stopped following casting once a few names came out that Marvel met with Mindy Kaling.

I don't think her Wonder Woman is overrated. I think her Diana Prince is astoundingly terrible though.

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is as overrated as Chik-Fil-A.

Most of us that liked Wonder Woman praised it because it was a good for DC. It wasn't any better than a mid-tier Marvel movie though. The third act really kills the movie.

Movie was fine. It's a semi decent origin movie with a shit ending. It's just that it came right after the spectacularly awful BvS so it shines by comparison. Chik-Fil-A is good for fast food, but it's still fast food.

So brave. Everyone, look how brave they are.

So much virtue. Wow.

Can these people do anything that's not absolutely fake? 20 fucking years after Blade and Spawn, and a few years after Wonder Woman was there really a fight about "Female and Black" super hero movies? Literally no one gives a shit. What people get angry about is 1.) When you race or gender swap beloved characters. 2.) When you make the movie promotion ALL ABOUT race or gender, or you get stupid with the character because of their race and gender, rather than just having them be...you know, super heroes.

People really liked Wonder Woman because it was a female super hero movie that wasn't focused on her being a woman. People got turned off on Captain Marvel because Brie Larson is a a preachy bitch that had to make the promos all about being a woman or oppression or nonense. Just...fucking enjoy being a super hero and people will like you, take a page of Gal Gadot, its not hard. No one goes to movies to be preached to, especially about this horseshit. Comics were "woke" since the fucking 60's, you are preaching to the choir--and its really exhausting because its so painfully clear the only reason this stuff gets talked about is because its THESE idiots who were late to the equality party, not actual comic book fans.

Exactly! "Woke" isn't making a female-lead superhero movie. These are the same "women-haters" who made Ripley, Sarah Conner, Blade, Trinity, etc. icons for decades. These money people in Hollywood, though, are tied to formula, and pattern of hits, and if they haven't seen something like "X" in a while, won't greenlight it. The story around Feige and Perlmutter goes something like Perlmutter didn't want to make female-led or minority-led movies; Newsflash, he didn't want RDJ to star in Iron Man, either!

Their agenda movies will flop, and their good movies won't, and everyone will learn the wrong lessons and CYA with the same old stories.

I would rather they had done a Black Widow movie sooner and she actually had a lesser Cap serum backstory. Black Panther movie made more sense and had more relevance than Captain Marvel. But the MCU ended with Endgame and now we get DLC. Pick and choose the good parts.

You didn't read the article. Ruffalo was telling a story about Feige from during the filming of Avengers 1 in 2011/2012, 5/6 years before Wonder Woman.
