Season 1 is much better than Season 2. Season One

Great show, didn't expect that I would want to binge through all the episodes yesterday, but...I did. Only thing I didn't really like was the office drama over the language Holden used to mess with Speck, everything else was top tier. Anna Torv is damned sexy.

Just finished, pretty good stuff overall but hearing all the hype raised my expectations higher than which were met. Really enjoyed Holdens partner, stole the show for me. Only thing that bothered me was them not destroying the tape right away.

I thought Holden made it clear that the contents of the tape didn't bother him. He only redacted the transcript that Anna Torv was going to read cause he didn't want to deal with her getting all bitchy. In that case, destroying the tape right away doesn't make sense.

Just finished episode 5. God damn that's some good writing. I honestly didn't know who the murderer was since every suspect was showing signs. It was like watching an LA Noire tv show.

The intro with the BTK killer is awesome too.

Just started this. Seems interesting. Holden's girlfriend looks like a low-rent Olivia Wilde.

Just finished it this morning. Much better than I expected going in. Anna Torv is still hot as hell.

That seemed strange to me too.

Somewhat realistic though. I can see holden thinking, "well that sucks, but who am I to throw away a perfectly ripe cunt?"

He didn't even throw it in her face on the porch. These are just two people with muted emotions.

The most you got was a scene of him walking into the office all grumpy as shit.

Holden don't play no bitch head games. I think it more annoyed him that she tried to do it to him rather than hurt him. Amateur.

Not sure why I clicked this thread a couple weeks ago. Glad I did. Finished the first 4 and it's fascinating.

My only complaint is his girlfriend's acting is horrendous. Her dialogue is all just so stiff and unnatural.

Its a common complaint, but after a second vviewing all the way through I am wondering if it wasn't intentional considering how well done everything else is. They could have replaced her at any time.

Finished last night and re-read the thread.

Holy shit, especially by the last 2 episodes, I thought I was seeing things. Once his hair started getting slightly disheveled, I really thought it was Dennis. Plus, he's got that empty behind the eyes thing going on sometimes.
