This seems like some serious bullshit. "We must know where you are at all times, or else (even if we don't think you are actively avoiding us!)"

The typical whereabouts violation ban is 12 months, but Rodriguez got a reduced sanction because his actions did not raise any suspicion that he was attempting to avoid testing, per a release.

should Dillashaw 1st fight back be for the title?

petr yan vs aljamain sterling reportedly got pushed to Feb. Dillashaw did an interview saying Yan is just an interm champ as he never got beat and wants winner of yan/sterling. Cejudo showed up and said should just make yan/dillashaw to troll sterling.

Perhaps UFC has a different deal than other sports.

But generally, whereabouts testing is awfully straightforward. You set one hour of the day to be available for testing. You tell them where they can find you during that one hour. If you make a change, you can make a quick change on the app.

Three strikes rule. If you believe in a clean sport, you do the professional thing and create one hour of the day where you'll be home (or at the gym or wherever). If you consistently can't abide by this, and you refuse to get your shit together, and you screw up three times in a year, then you aren't doing one of the few things asked of you as a professional.

USADA and WADA don't have perfect track records. Also, I've heard some silly stories of athletes who were available for testing (e.g., at a competition site with plenty of USADA/WADA officials testing other athletes), but not their designated spot, during that one hour period.

The bio-passports, problems with microdosing, and ability for USADA and WADA to plan the tests make this the best out-of-competition testing protocol sport has ever seen.

Yoel Romero released from UFC contract after nearly seven years with promotion

=

Chi Lewis-Parry suspended 4 years by USADA for multiple banned substances, falsifying evidence

never heard of the guy, 9-0-2-2, tested positive for drostanolone, stanozolol metabolites, and metabolites of dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (DHCMT) during a pair of out-of-competition tests in September 2019.
appears he tried to go out of it by making his own tainted supplement and giving it to usada, so he got 4 years instead of 2.

along with Yoel, 4 others fighters were cut the other day, mostly from DWCS with loosing records, one guy had got a contract but didn't fight. Dana said up to 60 more fighters could get cut before the end of 2020.
the ufc site lists 724 as active. 607 male.
Blood Elbow/Wikipedia says there are 656 active, 76 under usada suspension
