Huh now that you mention it I agree and all I can imagine is it looks like the butthole on an airplaneThat tail looks weirdly short on a dragon.
stress and scheduled openings unless you get an alpha or SOON (TM) beta access.Fun game, can't wait for launch and or more testing. Got a rogue to level 8, gonna mess around with more classes but feels really good to play. Is there any permanent testing or is it all stress testing? If so is it paid? I only see the sub cost on the FAQ. Who has the hook up?
Yeah, I assume it's still work in progress. The rare spawn ores (Silver/Gold/Plat) don't require any additional mats, but that doesn't help tier 1 JC with copper. Haven't messed with enchanting yet, so dunno how much dust you actually get off 1 magic item and how many magic items you get if you set out to farm them.Man the enchanting changes are insane. Logged in for the playtest and now enchant copper (level 1 spell) requires a disenchanted dust that...you basically can't get anywhere at low level
People were "complaining" that JC was too easy and needed something more to tie it down. Which is kinda was, if stats mean anything, since you could max JC at level 1, right after you farm enough copper to buy a mining pick (w/o invis spells, coal/plat and mithril would take forever to farm though). Now, you will need to farm a shitload more ore to get the rare ores to spawn, if you can't or don't want to get the DE dusts.I am not sure either, cus (by level 8) i didn't find any magic items. The enchanted bars after copper require a higher tier magic powder so presumably they want high level people to dumpster newbie zone names to steal items to melt down to make +1 cha rings they can throw in the trash
Basically it seems like jewelcrafting is/was/should be a system wholey unrelated to new (wow style) enchanting, but they do e got to remove dust requirement from rings and stuff
Can the rare ores or something be disenchanted for the dust instead?People were "complaining" that JC was too easy and needed something more to tie it down. The silver/gold/plat recipes in the chanting tomb don't require powder/dust to enchant the bars, just the proper skill level with the inherent fail chance. Whereas as the other ores require dust from each tier with Mithril needing Planar Powder. So no ones probably going to making/selling mithril jewelry next test, unless they were already made. Can the rare ores or something be disenchanted for the dust instead?
It does seem like they added a new axis to it that the other skills i have didn't have to deal with. Like it's "easier" as a low level guy to make a full set of copper plate and a weapin for a fighter.... than to make a single +1 int ring
i'm not very high in the enchanting, but my book has copper, tin, bronze and silver all requireing the dust:The silver/gold/plat recipes in the chanting tomb don't require powder/dust to enchant the bars,
Oh, didn't even look at silver since it burred in the list of recipes; then I would guess that they don't have the planned changes implemented for the gold/plat. That does make it even worse. If the rare ores didn't need powder/dust then there would at least a path w/o magic items still available, be it, an extremely time consuming path.i'm not very high in the enchanting, but my book has copper, tin, bronze and silver all requireing the dust: View attachment 606254
