They added a GCD for melee? WTF kind of dumbass FF shit is that? That's not EQ at all. If they need to slow things down, make mobs harder.... make camps more difficult to pull, make the scale of abilities different, but don't slow down the actual abiltiies/combat itself. It's slow enough. This reeks of Sean having no time/understanding of what was going on. Last summer they had classes nailed pretty well. WTH happened? How freaking hard is it to go out, math your TTK out where you think it should be, then adjust all skills with said formula?

JFC....I swear.

At least 2 boxing needs to be enabled on beta PvP.

The game is designed for groups. The population does not support that right now.

If this occurs on the Live EA PvP server in June then it should also allow boxing.

You can keep boxing banned on the regular servers because it makes sense. It doesn't make sense from a design standpoint to limit boxing on PvP if this is the result.
That’s a brilliant idea.

Plot twist: Nick fired MnM to jump ship to Secrets/Rogean.

I'm going with "creative differences" (only slop is allowed!) and some kind of investor influence (like everything else).

Hate to tell ya my predictions come true and I do admit things.

If they wow-ify this game itll tank after a year tops.

I've started to see these investor arm twisting gangs as a teams assigned to controlled demolition rather than being for profit

Kill it but squeeze some bucks out of the usual retards at the same time

Careful thinkin like me, it proves to be dangerous

What is this wild speculation lol. Shawn will take this thing to the grave before it gets wow-ified. There’s a reason he hasn’t taken any money from gamers unlike literally every other mmo ever. If this game crashes and burns it will be from inability of a small team to keep pace with content expansion and inportant mechanics shit like class balance and itemization which, unless you have a lot of skill and a little luck, is very difficult to achieve with a small crew

Yeah I know. I am just trolling. The game should be fine if they can fix classes.

It would be really nice if they actually put out a post saying what their intention is for classes after Nick's exit. As is we are getting wild speculation from both sides of the aisle; saying that the game is going to be a shit show and that the new team involved in classes are going to fuck things up while the other side is getting hyped up about the "new team" basically pulling the current busted system out of the shit it's in.

The post open patch is gonna be interesting to see. Plus seeing how the public handles the shit show that is the current state of night harbor lag.

Playtest build just showed most core skills for melee moved to level 50+

The class shakeups are already starting. We'll see where the chips land.

Nick previously was firm on all kits being available by level 8-10.

From what I heard Nick would present feedback to Shawn and Ali from the community and they would view it in disbelief.

Now I don't know what kind of feedback it was, it could be the most inane mundane stuff ever. There are no specifics so we can only speculate what the dynamic was and what Nick's contributions to design were. Edited server out for privacy reasons, not trying to stir drama:

search for Nick's posts on [REDACTED] server they'll find Nick taking about how he's "always" having to search 3rd party websites and servers for M&M criticism.... and that when he brings those criticisms to the team no one believes him

But it sounds like the bar was high for Nick to get the other developers to address community feedback. He would mention something, they'd wave it off, and then Nick would need to provide a lot of receipts-- which was then viewed with disbelief and suspicion by the guys that it was real genuine feedback.
