Again, the glyph combos don’t do anything except cast spells you already know without having them on your spell bar. There will be no ‘best combo’, from what im seeing in the deep dive.

important to note that glyphs themselves don’t trigger the GCD, but there’s no mention of if the Catalyst (the actual DIAL button after the glyph combo) does activate it. If it doesn’t you could do some pretty sweet dps that would separate you from the pack of people who don’t use incantations. It probably does activate the GCD though so forget what I’m saying it’s just extra hotbars for wizards.

This is a first iteration, I know they want to make class gameplay engaging without any of the spaminess inherent in today’s MMOs, and I’m sure they know they’re dealing with aging gamers here, so I’d expect things to be tweaked down if they veer at all towards reflex driven or button mashing gameplay.

Honestly I’ll be more impressed if they can legit come up with >10 Wizard spells that would actually be useful to have on hand at any moment. I think this will be an interesting style but probably not insanely impactful

maybe it'll be like golf clubs...various rangers or aoe shapes. various elements (do elemental resists matter often?). maybe the nukes do increasing damage the closer you are , so you use the one with the least range in any given circumstance. Or maybe they will have minimum ranges so you have to c hange to the very close range one because the 'best dps' nuke only works at least 20feet away.
