Ehh 5, 6 months. There is enough to keep casuals piddling around like me. Also many will forget about the sub for a month or two lol.

Went in completely blind after EQL petered out for me.
Rolled Ogre Shaman on Tilustra (didn't know where all the forum bros were rolling).
Solo the entire time. The grind to 8 was not awesome but after discovering the mines in the UD rafters, and a dwarf up top that gives silver plus rawhide armor for 4 mining picks, I began to enjoy it more.
8 is the magic level for Shaman: SoW, Haste, Hp regen, HoT...
Other than the game being filled with friction for friction's sake, I'm having a fine time with it.
Infravision does very little in UD.
Ogre base run speed feels like dog vomit.
A single backpack slot and 3 bag slots is ehhhh.
De-leveling and corpse runs are still uber gay.
Yet...I am compelled to continue playing.

everyone's hot and bothered now, to keep the wood going imo they need a 'kunark' expansion eventually with epic class quest. hell level every level!

Nah not “expansion” just, flesh out and “complete” the “expansion” of what is there - or what should be.
I think just in zone land mass, its what…25-33% the “current” plan

My highest character is on Estaire, but I just joined the forum guild on Trem.
The game has a lot of potential but there are so many elements that are just not there and the lack of polish in many areas is grating. Having said that, I have to keep in mind that the game is no where near done and it's being developed by a tiny, pro-bono (until recently) team. Furthermore, trying to add another ~60% of content/landmass while also needing to address the literal hundreds (if not thousands) of objective problems seems like an almost insurmountable amount of work.
I'm holding on to the hope that a lot of the rough edges will get smoothed out, but those hopes have been dashed many, many times before.
Regardless, I'm enjoying it and I'm going to stay subbed, keep playing, and give the team some runway to try and make this the incredible game it could be. If M&M does well for a year (maintains ~20k subs) and they bend a little on the elements that do nothing but piss off EVERYONE (except the 100 or so jobless, loudmouthed masochists) I can definitely see it breaking containment.

So many of us are dads now. My playtime is sporadic and unreliable. I'm still enjoying it.
Part of me really wishes I could poopsock a bit, but those days are long gone.

My wife is out of town this weekend. My mother in law wanted the kids yesterday so I played like 16 hours straight. Went from 15-21, got a couple pieces of gear. Then got lucky and got one of the purple glow lanterns to drop while I was farming cultists in between groups. Now just need someone to buy it.

So I’m not saying to not enjoy the ride or anything, but it definitely feels like they fucked something up and lvl 51 and higher are a quite a bit faster than they should be, so if you are poopsocking, I suggest poopsocking harder before they fix it.
Also, 47-50 were clearly bugged and way too slow so you’ll need to power thru that. In 51 I’m getting like 50% faster xp than 50 even though 51 is supposedly a hell level

The zones need to be smaller.. I do not know how to “fix” that… other than…perhaps just increase everything’s movement by 10-15% - but then it would all look silly like EQ2 benny hill.
