Birdman is way, way, way overrated especially by SJW fucktards and commie critics.

Still, I went in hoping for something completely different than what it was. Yet, taken on its own terms, Birdman was a great movie and I enjoyed the hell out of it. It surprised me in the same way that Shakespeare's Othello surprised me. It wasn't what I wanted it to be, but it was still damn good.

I don't know if this counts as underrated, because hardly anyone has ever seen it, but if you want to watch a really fucking good movie, watch "Fifty Dead Men Walking." True story about the troubles in Ireland. I think Ben Kingsley is the only really famous actor in the movie, but it's a great movie that not a lot of people have even heard of.

Gonna add Arrival and Ex Machina to the overrated list. Liked both but Arrival had the same issue for me that Interstellar did in that the lack of me having children really killed off a lot of the emotional impact. Ex Machina... I just don't get what the hype was with it. Maybe I missed some subtlety in it, but it seemed pretty on the nose to me.

As for underrated, for some reason I really liked the movie Mud. Matthew McConaughey is so great at those loner type characters.

I think The Nice Guys is pretty under rated. I love this movie.

Oh man I forgot about that movie, fucking loved it. Ryan Gosling plays a dumbass almost TOO well.

Overrated: Apocalypse Now, Patton
Underrated: Robocop, Conan the Barbarian

Good Morning Vietnam is horribly overrated. I was terribly bored almost the entire time watching it. Lady I was with at the time fell asleep during it.
