Came to see if there was a thread about this here. Cool, had no idea it was developed here but I had a feeling people here would dig it! I'm a 43 warlock currently. My luck must be kind of shit because I've gotten dozens upon dozens of cool plate/chain items but cloth for warlocks seems really hard to come by. I've mostly been trying to stack all the poison damage I can find and hope for the best. I've definitely fallen off in damage hard. I imagine the utility on all the dots are nice for heroic but for leveling groups it's a bit of a struggle since everything dies so fast. Suggestions on gearing?

Poison is the right way to go for warlock if you are wanting to do damage. Dropping the poison dot on a mob in the middle of a pack and spamming poison bolt at it to splash the damage is the way to go for that. Being a warlock you just have to accept you aren’t going to top the dps chart. They’re really a utility class like bard and enchanter, without good party buffs, not dps. All the damage reduction you bring with your chills and fear is your main gig, and the physical debuff dot is a lot of damage for other players.
It can be kind of hard to get others to think that way because the only metric we have is the dps charts so everyone focuses really hard on it. That’s why rogue is so popular. Good players that know the class understand it better.

It'll be more like an alternate advancement system that you can redirect experience points into. I'll get started on that after elite set/unique items are completed. Probably Feb 2023.

NGO blew way past any goal I had in mind. Revenue through the first four months is more than 5x the total cost of its development. Not bad considering that it has barely received any media/influencer coverage. It has slowed down a lot from its peak, but I think that's to be expected when major features are still under construction.

If anyone was thinking about picking it up, Nevergrind Online is now 50% off as part of the Steam Winter Sale. The game is still doing quite well! I just wrapped up itemization for all unique items and I'm moving to set items next! After that I can focus on the AA/talent system. I want to move quickly because I am really looking forward to coding the auction house, too.
On a personal note—the revenue just paid for a new 2022 BMW M3, my dream car! It's a 6-speed in frozen portimao blue with tartufo interior. Absolutely in love with this thing. Maybe I should do a few devblog vids from the M3? I'll think about it. I know Wintermule was looking for some updates.

Its 2022 and some people don't think others should have nice things or benefit from the fruit of their labor but I love it; Congrats! Hopefully this is a safe space where you don't get any heat for advertising it.
I haven't played it in years since before things had to be changed to De-EQ it but just bought it to support one of our own.
