Jesus, if they really think they're 2-3 starters away on defense, the team is more fucked than I thought.

If we're talking quality starters in the right spots (DT, ILB, S)...not completely wrong. I think we'll be fine at corner, and our edge rushers produced a good bit this season.

The radio just said sources are reporting Rivers doesn't want to move and the 49ers are interested in him.

Clay Mathews is a pretty big douche. He has head hunted Wilson more than once in our games. And don't even get me started on your douche as fuck QB with his post game trolling acting holier than thou.
Speaking of, was there ever a gif made from the play where Elliot completely clowned him?

Agree on Mathews. But if I have to pick between Rodgers humor and love of Big Lebowski or Russel crying because God is his special bro, well......

I can't stand Smith. He's a Giants fan though so not sure what's up with the jersey stuff unless he was making fun of Romo /Jerrah.
Wrong, he's a Steelers fan. He roots for the Giants because he lives in NY and hates the rest of the east, but he's actually a Steelers fan.

He said on the radio a month ago he was a Giants fan. His former girlfriend was a Cowboys fan and they broke up over it. I don't really listen to him though so I'll take your word on it.

Stephen A is a 3 team faggot... he is a Giants fan, Eagles fan and Steelers fan. At least I have seen him say he is a fan of those teams on his show multiple times.

*edit* Also he is a HUGE Rodgers fan.

If the Bengals ever win a playoff game I'm gonna shitpost hard.

Setting the bar high over here.

I may not live long enough to see that glorious day. Sounds like a Cubs moment.

1987, I wish. He'd be in the running sportswise. Give it to him then ask Skip to drop by and visit.

Specifically in regards to those pics.. the Cowboys jersey iirc was a lost bet with Skip before Skip left ESPN. That pic is not recent. Stephen A has never been a Cowboys fan

Someone may want to look at a map then, because San Francisco (well Santa Clara!) is a much further move for him than LA would be.

That's what I was thinking. I don't really see how it makes sense for the 9ers either. Obviously Rivers would be a huge upgrade to anyone on SF's roster but when you're building a team from scratch it's kind of silly to bring in a 35 year old quarterback who doesn't want to move and will have nothing to work with when he gets there. Maybe Rivers is up for a couple years starting and mentoring a new kid, but it all seems kind of dumb to me. If Rivers was going to move, I'd think he'd want to go somewhere like Houston or Denver where the team is a quarterback away from being a contender.

Shit like the Roidhawks elbow dropping during the kneel down formation is why they get the hate more than the Pats, though. If I wanted to see that kind of thuggery, I'd follow the NBA.

Need more information. So they were trying to end a game that was still in reach and seahawks decided they weren't ready to give up? If that's what happened, it's admirable. I fucking hate when teams go into kneel down mode in a close game and the defenses just give up.

Speaking of, was there ever a gif made from the play where Elliot completely clowned him?

I was thinking of that too. Hopefully someone delivers soon.

Maybe this. The slow mo closeup is where it's at.

Nah the game was out of reach. Some of the Seahawks defense were frustrated they gave up 36 and were taking it out on Atlanta's players. Its definitely a shitty move that i wish they hadn't made.

If the other team is actually running a play trying to get yards or score, sure. A kneel down is so no one gets hurt and twice we have seen them throw punches and try to get a fight (probably Sneaky Pete trying to stop the clock with offsetting penalties) when the game was over. Teams with any degree of class don't do that crap.

If the game is tight, that's bullshit. Quitters are the ones who quit when the game is close, not classy people. Gantak told us that's not the situation you were specifically talking about originally, but this last statement was more general.

So you think throwing punches during a kneeldown at the superbowl two years ago was acceptable behavior for grown men?
