Anderson played well after the start, but I think our lack of good goalies is just too great to overcome. We needed to be up 2-0 just to push it to lose in 7, now I assume Boston wins in 5 (although I think every game will be close).

They haven't said how long the extension is for, hopefully not a long one. I know it was never going to happen, but I was kind of hoping they'd sign Torts. At least the press conferences would be entertaining.

Still not convinced they're "done" with Kuzy. They might just have gotten to a point where they will listen to offers and consider whether they could make a deal they like (or if the cap space itself is just worth it to have/spend differently). But I totally agree that we can't go anywhere in the playoffs without him at this point. Backstrom looks like he's still nursing whatever he had at end of the regular season.

Obsidian Sounds like Eller and Kuzy might both be in tonight.
Heard we brought up McMichael as well. Unlikely that he'll get ice time in the playoffs, but I think he's going to be good at some point. Emergency center depth if either Kuzy or Eller are unable to go at the very least

That was a pretty bad goalie meltdown right there. And Marchand was a douche for the whole game. Tough loss for the Caps for sure.
