Ice hockey layman here. I have a question: what is the balance of forces in a shootout? In soccer, the strikers score something like 90% of the time, so any miss or save is momentous. Is it more balanced in ice hockey or is it expected for the keeper to block most shots? :emoji_thinking:

Much more balanced in Hockey than in Soccer, the goalies cover much more of the net just standing there. In a 5 round shootout it usually ends with the goalie stopping more than they let in.
