Miguex Miguex has it right. If you want some additional perspective, only 22 players have a career shooting percentage of 50% or higher in shootouts (10 attempts minimum) out of 447.

I think the raw number leaguewide is something like 33% success rate in shootouts/penalty shots. Definitely big swings for certain goalies/shooters, though. It is definitely a thing to have a couple guys on your team who are shootout specialists for the extra potential points during the season.

The Stars are just lucky that we have one of the biggest goalies possible outside.. well.. you know...

I will also admit it felt might damn nice to see Robo get his goal scoring mojo back online.... He hadn't put one in net since the Vegas series. (Although he's still been a point a game player on average, and who really complains about that?)

Well, the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL just had their season end tonight, but I walked away with something nifty.

I ordered this from the team photographer a few weeks ago and it came in today. 30"x24" and I'm going to have it framed and hang it in my living room because I'm a fucking meathead. I was planning on bringing it down to warmups to have it signed, but the photographer showed it off to Skeoch earlier today and he insisted on signing it.
