I can also tell you that you obviously don't hang out with many 18 year olds. Their mistakes are much worse because people assume they are doing adult things and can take care of themselves and aren't hovering over them in the background like 16 year olds.

You are only restricting them being able to have sex with older people and not people of equal age. What is the point? They have already had sex and with another unstable person not capable of making good choices.
