The green bag it's on was just given out at a wellness fair downstairs... the art on it is how to survive a zombie apocalypse, and the clutter on the desk in the picture includes 5 shot glasses amongst the pens, candy, etc. A sample of the silliness at Zappos.

If my Google Fu is accurate, looks like I'm good as far as owning the thing, as long as I don't buy make a habit out of it.

The top is almost as fucked up, and the silver on it seems to be about as thick as a sticker, yeah. Feels like all of the silver would need to be removed, something put over the buttons to protect them and paint the entire edge of the case once the scratches are smoothed out a bit.

how the hell do you scratch up the top that bad? I bet if you look around you might be able to find the paint code for that silver.


Anyone have any recommendations for a case and trigger grips? I'm looking for something that will hold the power plug and PS Vita, games aren't a big issue since most of the stuff I get will be downloaded. I was looking at thiscaseand thistrigger gripbut I have no idea if they are worth a shit.

I made a thread about P4G a while ago, hell might have been on FOH. Anyways, yea love my Vita, glad I didn't get rid of it with remote play coming to PS4. Mortal Kombat was ok on the Vita, atleast a good time killer at work. Stardust or whatever is pretty fun too. I picked up Castlevania: SOTN, FF6-9 as well during the sale. I want a bigger memory card too and refuse to pay 100$ for the damn 32 gig one. But I guess with the ability to save to the ps3/pc with the save files and shit my 8 gig is big enough. Gravity was supposedly really good and is free with PSN+ atm so tagged that to dl eventually too as well. I think UC for vita is free right now too.

*Edit* To add in the others games I played. MGS:HD collection was good, so was Raymond Legends. As a side note I wanted to pick up Ninja Gaiden but was afraid I'd end up smashing my vita when I started getting frustrated (Never beat it on Xbox fuck those raptors and the tentacle rape monster). Also to get back to the P4G discussion was the first in the series I played and I'm glad it was, love the shit out of that game, the cutscenes and script were hillarious. Have you guys played NG+ yet?

Finally got a shitload of games downloaded on mine last night and hoping to screw around with it today and holy shit is PS+ awesome.

Less awesome for the vita than the ps3. Unless you like fighting games. They fucking love to put fighting games on ps+ for the vita

I use those trigger grips, I like 'em as they make it so my hands don't get as cramped. The triggers can be harder to push though as it's just plastic on plastic when pulling on them. However, it doesn't bother me as I've heard it bothers others.

So far I'm loving the system but I really hate that they put so much touch integrated bullshit into the games just because they can, I hate putting fingerprints all over the gd screen while playing uncharted. How did they think that was a good idea?

1) gotta justify putting the tech in

I feel the touch controls detract from the games, especially when they are forced in.

They should have made it an option you can turn on/off in the game, I hate not having the option to just use the buttons. Big "wtf!" on not just swinging the machete like a weapon and having to use the touch screen to swipe it.

Most of the cover films prevent fingerprints FYI - scratching never seemed to be an issue like for phones, but they still repel fingerprints.

Isn't it fucking ridiculous? As I look around the end of the posts here, and I know these are typically $80, seeing anyone think this is a good deal regardless amazes me. It's not a good deal. You all got railroaded into paying double the price on a memory accessory that has been a standard since 2002, made not a standard 9 years later and charged double sometimes triple for. Meanwhile, there is no reason in hell it shouldn't be this.

Everyone knowssit's a ripoff. Unfortunately if you want a vita then that's the current best deal you can get. Now if you personally want to protest Sony's drm policy/greed by not buying a vita then that's a perfectly valid choice.

For everyone else it's a great fucking deal.
