Sometimes at work we swipe through Tinder from boredom. I find it amusing. At least in this area of the country so many of them on there have statements like "MY KID IS MY LIFE IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT SWIPE LEFT" or something similar or a picture with 2 kids. I think that is at least 50% of the women also.

Kids don't bother me - the gal I'm seeing now has 3 male teenagers. Does it get worse? Well, actually, yes, they could be female. But they aren't any worse than any other average teenager /shrug It's our age bracket - accept it or you really cut off a lot of quality women. As to why they state that FW? The gal I'm with now said she ran into trouble with a lot of guys over the years getting pissed when she had to do something for/with her kids - some guys just do not get it, even if you do.
I think the issue is more that they don't have to state that their kid is their whole world. Notify that you have kids of course but I think every person on the planet would assume that your kids would be important to you.

I've just gotten reamed out by multiple women saying I have "trust issues" and "control issues" because I said I would absolutely never tolerate a woman I was in a serious relationship with "platonically" sleeping in the same bed as a male friend. Can't say I've ever encountered this, but if you were to ask her the reverse "So it's ok for sleep in the same bed as an attractive female friend" and get any response that doesn't include female claws raking across you face, then she isn't really a female. Every chick I've dated has had issues with me even *having* female friends-- the thought that I could "platonically" share a bed with a woman while I am dating doesn't even enter the realm of possibility.

Yeah that sounds crazy, that being said I did sleep in the same bed twice with different women in a platonic way when I was in the Marines. We were in Korea and had to share hotel rooms because of budget and myself and the only female were the only two of the same rank. They were trying to work it all out and we just said screw it we will work it out. She didn't need the fuss and I saw her as a dude. Same exact scenario in Thailand. The bed was large in both rooms and we kept to ourselves and nobody joked about it and we moved on.
I can't remember if I even told the wife then or later. I know she wouldn't have cared just not sure I even saw it any different than a fellow dude Marine. I will ask her tonight. Those are very one off scenarios though and not your normal situation.

Went on a ski trip last week and ended up sharing a king size bed with a female friend platonically. But she's a lesbian friend that I've known for a long time, and she's become friends with the girlfriend as well. I don't think anyone gave much of a shit. I certainly wouldn't care if my girlfriend shared a bed with a gay dude that I knew reasonably well. The straight, weaboo, goofball she's been friends with for years that I'm positive is just waiting for his chance even though he's married to an asian import? Yeah, I'd probably not be cool with that.
This is true because there are really two scenarios I can see with her 'platonic' friends:
(a) Dude is attractive and they're actually banging
(b) Dude is ugly and is fawning over her but she doesn't want to bang him
