Up to the second area and it gets rather... creepy. Really enjoyed the castle area and I already feel a bit OP with upgraded weapon dmg etc but enjoying it. The second house though is a little too creepy for me and am anxious to get past this part - guess I really am a big ole baby.

Honestly I think its time to look at the overall formula for RE.

I know they just switched to first person one game prior, but the whole find items to open up new areas then fight bosses by shooting their vulnerable/colorful bits, rinse repeat, is tired.

Its time for them to try something else in terms of the way combat plays out. Not much variety in enemy types either.

My number one pick would be Revelations 3, which is good because it's rumored to be next in line after RE8 according to the Capcom leaks.

Really wish it wasn't also rumored to be a timed Switch exclusive though. Just like MH Rise, I'd much rather play it on PC or XSX. It won't be utter shit on Switch like Rev 1 was on 3DS, but it's still far from ideal.
