You're right, it wasn't. The 'shaw was never intended to be somebody's personal ogrish site, absolutely. However, FoH was also never a place where people got banned, simply because something they posted stood as an affront to a mod's personal morals/situation. Nor did you get banned because a mod held a personal vendetta against you, simply because he didn't like the content of your posts. We all weren't crying foul and pulling #pussyshit when somebody had theaudacityto post content we didn't agree with. Most people dealt with it, or completely ignored the total imbeciles. Now, did it still happen? Oh, absolutely. There were many unjust bans handed out by Millie, TBH, Faille, etc. But, you know what happened when they did? The community usually policed itself, called out the mod on their bullshit, and we all went on our merry way. Similar to what happens here every time Tarrant, Sean, or others start in on their idiocy/over-moderation. The only differencehere, is that there's 47 of you fuckers, so you all circle the wagons anytime one of you gives out some sort of ridiculous ban/infraction.

Yeah, see, the number of moderators isn't the big issue here (though it's arguable that it's a lesser issue). The quality of some of the loud ones is the issue. There could be 4 moderators, and if 3 of them were OH MY GOD LOOK AT ME WRONG AND YOU GET BANNED, it's still a huge problem.

I can't remember if it was this way at the end or not, but for quite awhile posting in the Rickshaw didn't increase your post count I believe. I think? You also couldn't rep someone's post in the Rickshaw either. Unless I'm totally misremembering both. Although I am fairly certain both of those changed during the coming of the Swamp Donkey.

However, I was fine with the way this Rickshaw was going. Just update rules as they need to be updated, temp ban if necessary, and move on.

I distinctly remember two people (can't recall who) post farming for something insane like 30 pages long before all the Tyen shit.

hahahah, Uber Uberest was one of them. I can't remember the second one. I remember finding that thread one night and my mind being fuckingblown. It was high-larious.
