I agree that if the nets be done away with, it should be done properly. Have a proper poll at an appropriate time with an official deadline. While I actually like having a reputation system in place, I don't think it's worth having if it can be exploited to harass and bully posters, which is currently the case. Fix dis shit.

When Chuk started it, I thought it was a great way to be positive and provide a sense of giving and comradery . Hell, its not like anyone is sending cookies or secret santa gifts to other forum members. Now a few folks are acting like we were running ShowEQ.

I voted no because I wanted to show solidarity with my starlet loving asian brothers (I'm checking my white privilege).
As I said before, I'd like to have something, but the current system is also clearly in need of an overhaul. However, I think Astro's thread is pretty cool and I think it shows that he's not really a bad guy at heart, he's just a little screwed up on some of his movie/TV show opinions! I didn't "sign up" for the thread because I'm fine with my paltry amount (and too lazy to reciprocate), but I kind of enjoy reading it and seeing everyone be so positive. It rarely happens on the internet anymore. I'm a little choked up here guys. I love you, bros!

On the other hand the system was changed into it's current form due to a poll that has even less votes than this one does.
I think it's spelled Negruary. Could be wrong tho.
Anyways, if nets are gonna go, then whatever. Never did like the concept of the whole + or - net thing, but Chuk's thread was fun to participate in.

Chiming in to say if we're going to work the nets system into something to take super seriously, I vote for rewards (nothing serious, stupid cosmetic stuff or like to use nets like raffle tickets) or other stupid shit to be able to use them on!
Also, requesting that if we do really have a choice wether to get rid of or keep the nets system - can we please have a real poll/choice in the matter and have the thread made or run by a moderator, please...

The options for "Nets" are very limited as far as when vbulletin allows. If you can mind me a mod for vbulletin that doesn't suck and isn't ancient then I might consider using it.
The community is in dire need of poll making classes honestly. Seems like 9 out of 10 times the maker fucks it up around here.
