Its been a while but what scene was it QT directed? for some reason I alway say was Yellow Bastard but it didn't really seem like his style
I am pretty sure it was an action scene involving cars at a crossroad... my memory of the scene is fuzzy because I saw the movie once at release time and never read the graphic novel(s?).

According to IMDB

"The scene that Quentin Tarantino directed is the drive to the pits scene in which Dwight (Clive Owen) talks with a very dead Jackie Boy (Benicio Del Toro). When Tarantino insisted on a real car being built for the shooting Robert Rodriguez told him that it would be easier without one. After shooting a few takes with the real car, Tarantino realized his friend was right. Tarantino also came up with the idea of Jackie Boy's slit throat affecting his speech and Dwight speaking his internal monologue rather than dubbing it in later. "

edit., Apparently its on YouTube

I dunno, I'm not a comic book guy, and quite honestly I thought the first Sin City was only interesting because of the visual style. In that regard, it was pretty ground breaking. But that was almost 10 years ago. It's old news now. Otherwise the stories were shallow and not particularly interesting, unless you're in to the comics in the first place. And the vast majority of the movie going public isn't. So it's not a big surprise that this bombed. Maybe if it was made a couple years after the first it would have done better.
Waiting 9 years was an odd move. $22MM worldwide so far; a complete bomb. Speaking of bombs, I wonder how Alba manages to keep at pretending to act. She's made bomb after bomb after bomb after bomb. In fact, she's probably one of Hollywood's most successful unsuccessful actresses. She should take what's left of her dignity and quit Hollywood.

FTFY.

I forgot that I went to see this last Friday when the power went off in my apartment and it was hot as fucking balls. The movie wasn't bad, I semi-enjoyed it, all things considered. I don't think it was worth that long of a wait, and I normally would have been perfectly content waiting for the bluray, but considering that there was a/c and a TON of Eva Green nudity, it was not bad.

Are you trying to imply that Eva Green's nudity is solely responsible for those films/shows being disasters? If so then please turn in your man card at the exit.

That Camelot show was beyond retarded. I wanted it to do so well, it was worse than Agents of Shield.

I loved Sin City 1. I always ranked it in my top three movies. So I was pretty excited to hear about this movie. Some parts of this movie was pretty good, but most of it could have been cut out and just ran a 30 min Sin City 2 movie and it would have been better.

I gave it a 5/10

Penny Dreadful's middle episodes were kinda terrible. It has a strong opener and a strong finisher, but it had too much meh "filler" for an 8 episode season.

Why are you leaving out Penny Dreadful? By your logic that should be terrible too.
is it? never watched it so, wouldn't know.
Camelot was dogshit and I would have really liked it to have been good.
the best parts were eva green, not even the naked parts but what she as morgan le fay was doing, that was the story i was interested in, arthur was boring as usual.

My only problem with her is the way she talks. She makes it sound like shes on her last few seconds of air and she is forcing the rest of the air out to talk.

i never got around to seeing this in the theater, something always came up when i had some free time. saw the web rip. its not bad at all, what was bad was the overuse of marv and his terrible quality makeup. how the fuck did they make it look more believable 9 years ago? anyway, i liked the stories and it felt like sin city. if i had gone to see this and paid 14 bucks, i would not have felt bad. i plan on buying this on blu-ray because i of course have part one and i did enjoy the movie, they never should have waited 9 years to do the sequel, it would have done much better in the box office and mickey rourke might not have looked as bad. although stacy keach looks exactly the same. fucker is an immortal.

thought it was very mediocre, only parts i liked was Marv and early story with JGL. Green being naked over and over doesnt make it a good movie. What was the point of Stacy Keach, his character was pointless and that entire story dragged from the start.
