More importantly is why he still won't make a global announcement post over there redirecting the bitter clingers here.

I imagine its because he's afraid he'll be de-admin'd for putting up an advertisement to a new, non-affiliated site by the new owners.

Which is exactly why we said we had to move in the first place.

Where do you think the forum backup goes once it is made?

It goes into the file system and is not accessible via the browser. You need shell or ftp access which he does not have.

To his credit, Tuco is probably working behind the scenes with a_skeleton_03 on some stuff related to the old site, which is also probably why he is afraid of losing his admin privileges over there by putting up an announcement for everyone to leave.

I don't have access to do that, which makes me regret not pushing Teljair harder to get real admin access to the forum. He probably wouldn't have given it, but I could have pushed harder.

The administrator tag I have is actually pretty weak, there is very little I can do on the site.
