What on earth has happened to Pique and Barcelona's defense. How do they not buy a CB this summer?!?

Are you new to this? Pique has been shit since 11/12. He cannot play defense when he doesn't have Puyol holding his hand. Its a bit better with Ramos for Spain, but he is still average at best. Rossell and Zubizarreta are both shit at leading the front office. Rossell gets a hard-on for Brazilians because apparently Nike pads his pockets during his time in Brazil with them, so he does everything to sign them. Neymar has been a great deal, but the lackluster pursuit of Silva for 2 years was pretty pathetic. It was obvious he wasn't coming yet no one chose to stop and look elsewhere. Zubizarreta on the other hand mentioned that if no CB of value comes up "Barca will use Adriano as one of the center-backs". Those were his exact words. If it wasn't for retards in the front office Barca would have been able to contend for CL titles during the year when they got beat by Chelsea. This defense issue has been going on since Pep's last season yet for whatever reason none seems to understand that using makeshift players as center-backs or entrusting the middle of the defense to Shakira are terrible ideas. I had more hope for Tata but his continued use of Pique and lack of time for Montoya/Bartra is depressing.

Exactly and spot on Pique; hes been playing like this for the last years and people are arguing if he had been catching teh suck from Shakira or is just bad off, cause Methusalem syndrom for poodels as got a grip on Puyol.

Certainly not going to complain about 4 games and points from every game, just think we need to come up with a better idea than hanging on for dear life the entire 2nd half. Fun game to watch either way.

yeah, no complaints about the result.
Really missed Johnson. Wisdom seem to struggle all game, far more than Sakho which the commentators were complaining about.

Still yet to see much of value from Aspas and he's only got until Suarez returns to prove he's of any value at all otherwise he'll be at the bottom of the pecking order.

Still trying to wrap my head around paying 30 fucking million for Fernandino. I know it's early days but it was a insane amount of money before he even kicked a ball for us. Meh.

Rooney's new head wrap seems to be helping with the ego swelling in the brain. Nice to see him playing with focus as of late.

Apparently Arsenal have won 10 away games on the bend since they won at Bayern Munich in last years Champs League! Also 6 in a row anywhere since the opening day shithouse against Villa.

Jeebus Mr Mourinho, what a start to their European campaign >.< First Swiss team to travel here and beat an English team in 20 attempts since Spurs sucked in 95 in the "lovely" old Intertoto cup.

Didn't he not lose a home game for something like 6 seasons spanning several clubs including Chelsea earlier in his career?

Mourinho on the hot seat, bring back Rafa!

Decent day of games - biggest surprise for me (other than Basel) has to be Napoli. Played really well against BVB. Going to be a tough group - Marseille looked really solid in the first half against The Arse but really dropped after the break. Ramsey has been Arsenals best player this season by a country mile - and in a midfield of Wilshere, Cazorla, ?zil - he looks the pick of the bunch at the minute. Shows how important confidence can be.

Napoli played really well the first half and tbh BVB had so much bad luck (it should be enough for at least half a season) in that half as well.
Still almost managed to a 2-2 in the last 15 mins to the game since Napoli looked out of breath then.

That sucks, he's one of my favorite players. Guess it won't effect how it plays, but still.

Will be good to see him get some more game time now due to the red card.

dumbest statement of the season so far
Yes you slanty eyed faggot - Napoli beating the shit out of the 2nd best team in Europe last season is totally unsurprising. Were you born stupid, or is it being from Liverpool that has made you a fucking idiot. Get it together Shirley.
