Yeah, they go 0:1, you can basically turn the game off. But until then, it should be an interesting game with the supposedly stronger team having to score 3:0 to advance. They can't play that carefully.

I'd say Chelsea has the easier run in and can even afford to lose at Anfield so are still the favorites. With that said, LFC does control it's own destiny. I believe to win out would be a new club record for wins in a row, something like 14 but with the way this season is going why the fuck not? Really bossed that 2nd half after a bit of a shaky first, Sterling is just phenomenal and really changed the game around.

Just back from the match - great atmosphere in the LFC section and great result although I think the final scoreline was harsh on Southampton. Not surprised to see they had 13 shots but only 2 on target vs 12 and 5, too often their final ball was lacking.

Also, don't know if the TV cameras caught this but there was a moment in the first half when the ball went out of the Saints end near the corner flag. One of the pitchside photographers tried to throw it back but it went vertical out his hands and didn't go very far, an LFC fan jumped over and grabbed the ball but held onto it instead of throwing it back. He waited for Boruc to come retrieve it so he could hand it back and as soon as Boruc got close enough the guy fisted the ball from underneath and lobbed it over Boruc - the fan promptly got escorted out but it was lolz - guess you would have had to have been there!

Another trophy! After that absolute abomination of a first half from City i was convinced this was Wigan all over again. Credit to Sunderland aswell, after those 2 quick goals i thought they would collapse but they did themselves proud.

That's almost identical to what one Liverpool fan did to Boruc vs Southampton, except when Boruc got near he lobbed the ball over his head lol
