Yeah. This game is a pass for me but I would play a game based around the flight combat in this game.

So majority of people are passing because micro transactions. You fucks better keep your word.

Yeah, the space combat is really fun. Although the one map they have available is unnecessarily stacked towards the empire.

Space combat feels decent. Wish there was a more active defensive component... shield vs. engine management or some such thing like X-Wing. Maybe a 'tap x fast for repair' active ability thing. Something to fill the voids of time between cooldowns. Also wish there was a 'big boom' dumb missile on all ships for skill shots.

There is a dumbfire missile. Just double tap the missile button and it'll shoot it without a lock

I noticed they turn off chat when the matches are over. At first I was thinking "But I can't say gg!" then I realized it probably prevents a lot of rage stuff, so maybe a good thing.

I've been playing a ton, and so far I've gotten 190 total crafting foozles. Want to start kitting out the squad leader pistol but I spent 120 on a trooper sight. I think.

So do you get anything for duplicates? Seems like you should at least get credits or something like overwatch.

BTW Anyone else seeing suspicious stuff? 54 kill mvps double tapping you from across the map with the rocket man's pistol etc?

I know. I want one specifically designed for that purpose. Much higher damage to make risk v reward equation better.

Edit: holy fuck the gunplay is atrocious.

Whales are the target of micro transactions not the average player. I think they took a page out of their dumb star wars mobile game where whales were dropping 10k + on crates.

I can guarantee you they had whales in that game dropping 6 figures on that.

I feel guilty when I'm on the resistance side at taco whatever. So much easier.

I know. I want to play a game that's just that. All my friends want to play the infantry mode.

I get it is star wars and kind of a meme, but the guns/aiming still feels so shitty just like the first game.

A lot of patterns emerging after cranking Galactic Assault nonstop. Seems like most people just use Specialist SMG/Scrambler combo or Vanguard shotgun rush. The TTK with those two is pretty ridiculous. Also I think the hero stuff needs to be reverted to how it was where they slowly lost their "health" over time UNLESS they actively killed people. I had a dude last night who just did assault mid range camping until he got a Hero unlock, then he would go like 30 and 0 playing like a bitch. For instance he would sit Rey in the hallway when you first attack Throne Room and just reflect shots until he couldn't, then he'd run away until power came back and do it all again. And he got Darth Maul and he just threw his lightsaber and ran behind walls. Super fucking annoying.

Also spamming Rocket Droids/Jet Troopers seems overpowered in thought, but their rocket cooldowns are so slow it's actually probably pretty balanced. Basically after the MTT part if I get one rocket droid I can assure nonstop rocket droids until the games end.

Not the only comment I've seen like this, which will make the game a hard pass for me.

I thought it was fine and was just like whatever battlefield since battlefield 1. However the FOV being capped at such a small number was giving me motion sickness and was being forced to play in 3rd person is ehhhh

Hold C to go to first, I play in first.

BTW the rocket trooper's pistol can win you fights vs snipers. Super long range and strong and accurate. When I got smoked across the map the first time against it I thought the guy must be cheating, but later I tried it and the gun is just that good haha.

No, I'm saying the console FOV is garbage and I can't play in 1st person without getting motion sick because I can't change it, therefore being forced to play in 3rd person. The slider is there but it just doesn't work.
