I'm going against public opinion on this one, and say it looks cheesy.

I hope you guys are right tho, and it's a good movie.

Wow, that got me jazzed up more than the early TFA trailers by far. How'd they find Mon Mothma's younger twin at exactly the right age?

She was apparently in a deleted scene in episode 3 as Mon Mothma, she looks better in the role now however.



I could barely sit through that scene holy christ.

I have to ask, so is every movie now going to have a female lead? I guess we have to get this girl power thing out of our systems.

damn that trailer was fucking awesome. I sort of want to complain about the main character being yet another chick but she does look bad ass and if she is written well, who cares. The kung fu stuff was a bit weird too, but everything else A+++. AT-AT's on a lush planet, dish being emplaced on the death star, Star Wars subway stations, lovin it. Phasma is not in this movie at all, right? Makes me wonder what the point of putting her character in TFA was.

Well we saw a ton of Finn in the teasers for Force Awakens and the main hero is Rey so...

That looks amazing, I'm not sure what I was expecting this to be, but it wasn't that. Part of me wonders if they aren't going to go all Mara Jade with this chick though

Main thing that impressed me is that it's an actual Star Wars movie, complete with Star Wars things and Grand Admirals.

Vader captures her, they fuck like an X-rated movie and Rey is born 10 years later? That'd be cool, she'd be Ren's Aunt totally keeping in with the incest/fuckery of the Skywalker clan.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if this is Rey's mom eventually. They need their "tie in" to bring all their bullshit together.

Fucking behind the scenes storm trooper training and Forest Whitaker? Hell yes.

Looks good although I dont like Forest Whitaker so far, his lines seemed too batman voiced.

The speculation is that Donnie Yen's character is blind based on the pic that came out a few months back. If so then he's probably going to be some sort of hand-to-hand combat specialist.

Freaking Grand Admiral had me sold. Everything else was just globs of butter cream on the cake.

To respond to an earlier comnent. I think they are trying to prove that Leia and Mon Mothma aren't the only females in the SW cinematic universe. Just like Lando isn't the only black guy. And like another earlier comment, as long as they are written well and fleshed out, I don't care much.
