Is everyone crazy excited for this movie? I'm trying to be. trying to remember the way I felt back in 77 after I saw the original on the big screen. It's not happening. I still had some of that ole magic for phantom menace, right up until I saw that at a midnight showing. I think after that it was gone. Now all I see for this film is merchandising and gimmicky plot twists. I hope whatever " shocking" reveal being kept under wraps for Luke can revive the awesome I once felt for this franchise.

Yeah I'm not too hyped about it either. I bought tickets for the kids and friends for Thursday but I won't be seeing it till after Christmas myself.

you know, if I were a hollywood producer what I would do is release a screener to all the regular torrent sites, I'd have the first 10 minutes of the movie be legit... and then I'd have the other 80 be a splice of gay porn cumshots.

Didn't they say they weren't going to issue any screeners?

edit: As a reminder for those wanting to avoid unofficial info and whatnot until you get to see it on opening night, stuff might start showing up on social media tomorrow night after about 9PM PST and then proliferate from there. That's when the premier in LA will be finishing up. Although the press are under a blackout until midnight on the 16th non-press attendees are under no such obligation. So you might wanna unplug at least to some extent for a few days.

This is a fan created trailer that uses various parts of all the official trailers, tv spots, and sponsored extras (like the Verizon commercial w/ Chewie and BB-8). It has stuff that I haven't seen before but I've seen very few of the TV spots so I'm guessing that's where most of those parts are from.

I would like to come into this thread in a few days to see if the movie is worth watching. I really do care what at least some of you have to say, and I won't go to the theater to see it if it is as bad as the prequels. Therefore, if the movie is great and has great surprises, all of you faggots trying to ruin it for people can eat some shit and I hope you get banned.

I wouldn't come to this thread unless you want it spoiled. Too many mouthbreathers who want to ruin the movie for people. I would try and stick to rotten tomatoes/other review sites not full of dickheads.
