Then don't take it too seriously. I actually like Ep1,2,3 but can appreciate all that he says. I thought this movie was even better (naturally) but still can't wait to see Plinkett tear it apart. Especially since he wanted Abrams and even predicted a lot of this would happen (including killing a major character).

Plinkett did commentary on the original trilogy as well. He loves the originals, it's all in good fun

the character is real, if that makes any sense. mike stoklasa(sp) is a big fan of the original star wars and vanilla star trek and TNG but he didnt hesitate to plinkett the shit out of all of it. i rather have somebody who loves something speak critically about its flaws than somebody with no clue what they are talking about, say a bunch of dumb shit that makes no sense to any real fans.

when i posted that i knew some knucklehead would attack me. gavin what do i have to do to prove to you and all your ilk that i read all the books? i admit i never read the world of ice and fire book with the maps. i also never read the Dunk and Egg series. the GoT series i definitely did read though and have them sitting 5 feet from me.

You don't have to prove anything to me. While I'm sure that at some point I've posted something along the lines of 'have you ever even read the books?' in response to something you've said, I don't actually doubt that you've read the books.

ok thats cool, i read a lot and as the years go on i forget stuff, especially if i only read it once. i can practically memorize some stephen king novels , but only because i have read most of his books several times each.

The new Plinkett Review is going to be similar to the Star Trek reboot review, short and broadly positive. They already reviewed Star Wars 7 on Half in the Bag and they liked it.
