Not sure how excited I am about the new development with Sam this season. Seems like yet another reason for Emo-Sam to pervade the show. It is almost like they are blatantly saying Dean is the main reason people watch, and since Sam is sort of wooden already, they might as well give him an excuse to act that way.
Good to see Castiel playing a significant role though.

Pretty much. Dean has always been what made this show awesome imo. The very best stuff is Dean + Castiel. Those two need a spin off.

I was partial to the original Ruby, but she's on Arrow now, so we're all good. I agree that Anna was hot as fuck though. She had that Ariel/Piper Fawn look to her that just made me want to do terrible things to her.

jared padalecki seems like he's a pretty cool guy in person, and he and jensen have a great chemistry, so i don't really mind him. clearly he's the weaker actor of the two but next to jensen, that's true for most tv actors. jensen is just so fun to watch. i'd love for him to get more roles.

Abaddon was looking pretty good for part of the episode (when she was giving the speech to the demons), but then she went back to looking like she had too much makeup caked on. That just ruins her for me.
New girl was definitely nice bending over the car engine. I'm not a big fan of her face, but with a body like that I wouldn't give a fuck.
Liked this episode significantly more than the first one, except for the lack of Castiel. Sam was actually doing a pretty good channeling of Tahmoh's acting quirks there too. I was fairly impressed.
