Hubble has found what so far is thought to be a unique object in our solar system. A main belt binary asteroid that's also classified as a comet.

Sara Horst is doing an AMA today, should be a lot of good stuff from her. Science AMA Series: Hi Reddit, I’m Sarah Hörst, Professor of Planetary Science at Johns Hopkins University, here to talk about the outer solar system (especially Titan). Ask me anything! • r/science

I feel bad saying it, but after Cassini, Jupiter is kinda boring to me. How many different ways can we look at the same clouds, and no moon observations.

I'm genuinely more interested in some of the other science than pretty pictures, maybe it's because of how good Voyager's images were.

Wish the headline was 'Russia will team up with SpaceX' because then maybe it would actually happen.

Also, Australia announced they are starting a space program - It's exciting that Australia is getting a space agency. But what will it do? | Andrew P Street

Wondered what Amazon was doing when I wrote the Russia/SpaceX thing above, and came across this as their last update (from a year ago). Feel like I saw a clip of this but never the full sequence.

Their rocket still reminds me of one of these.

No, it will get 4 million miles away, closest we've been is Messenger @ Mercury which is like 38 million miles and one of the Helios probes got to 43? million miles.

We've only been 2/3 of the distance to the sun, that's crazy.

Tonight Elon Musk is talking at a thing about making mankind interplanetary, he just posted some pictures.

That stream will be here:

Probably the 3rd time I've posted a version of this, their breakdown is awesome though.

Please tell me that stands for "Big Fucking Rocket"

Also, did Elon get verbal approval to colonize Mars already?
