It comes as no surprise that they changed their DRM policy. They did the same thing earlier this year when people cried out about Office 2013's ridiculous licensing agreement. Although in that regard they only compromised halfway. However, I wouldn't put it pass them to change course once they get a decent installed base. They will start by selling their exclusives under the more restrictive DRM.
But what still gets me is the line they kept towing throughout the entire debacle. They tried desperately to make it seem like hot sauce and everyone knew it was shit. Goes to show you they had their head in the ground the entire time.

Quotes on the PS4 controller is that it's "alot beefier" feeling and that the grip material on the handles help to alleviate "360 controller addiction". So you might not even need to put up with a shitty controller.

I've seen it, but it means nothing to me until I have one in my hands. The (small) Xbox controller has been better than anything from Sony for the last 2 generations. I'm not going to be convinced that this fact has changed until I can get my hands on one at length.

The $100 doesn't matter to me. I've already explained my stance on the hardware. I like Kinect and it comes in the box. To me this is Xbox One + $100 connect bundled together. I don't play indie games. I play AAA racing/sports titles and shit like Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider and Gears of War. I don't care about exclusives. I've never played Uncharted or Gods of War, for instance. I've already stated I like Xbox Live > PSN.
Sony is at least as full of shit as Microsoft is. They're a multi-billion dollar corporation. All they give a shit about is profit. How quickly you forget last generation I guess. I mean Sony are the goddamn kings of proprietary formats, for instance.

It's got some neat exclusives - it's not hard to say that it is right now - the hardware is worse however. But good games > good hardware when it comes to exclusives.
(Not that I have or plan to own a Wii/WiiU)
Pretty sure the WiiU has not ever been in this to begin with. But it at least has the potential for good exclusives, the Xbone does not.

Forza and Halo > any new Mario game for about the last decade now. I honestly don't know anyone other than women and children that play many Nintendo exclusives anymore.

The WiiU actually has exclusive games I want to play though, games that won't be on PC. Smash Brothers and Mario Kart sell systems on their own, and so will Zelda and a true Mario game eventually. The xbone is an inferior PS4 with exclusives that will be available on PC as well.
Uh, Nintendo exclusive sales shit all over Halo and Froza. Like, the numbers aren't even fucking remotely comparable.

Mainly because every family in America with a kid under the age of 12 had a Wii. WiiU won't come close to the original Wii sales numbers.

Forza and Halo won't be on PC though. Forza is one of my all-time favorite gaming series, also. It's the reason I bought a racing cockpit!
