So you're saying he's Mike Wallace part 2? Hopefully he doesn't drop the ball as much, because I don't know how Tannehill will handle another physically gifted receiver that quits on him.
Probably, everyone thought the same thing about Mike when he was there.

Dez and Demaryius are about to set the market for elite WRs and the Steelers have always been one of those organizations who rarely hand out huge contracts to their skill positions, Big Ben notwithstanding. I could be wrong but off the top of my head I really don't have memory of them keeping a FA via a huge signing.

The only wide receivers to have a better 3 year start to their careers in NFL history outside of Mike Wallace were Randy Moss and Jerry Rice, so, yea....considering the insane numbers Ben put up last year I'd say it just solidifies how good he actually is making other WRs look better.

I agree, shame they didn't utilize Sanders while he was there.

AJ Green was better in almost every way than Mike Wallace in his first three years.

They did, he was just buried behind Wallace and A. Brown...only so many passes to go around. And thats when he wasnt hurt all the time with his foot, which he was. With Bell catching 83 passes last year Sanders would have had even less, especially considering rookies like Martavius Bryant were already better than Sanders.

Anquan Boldin, right around the 40 yard line:

Such a clear case of block in the back. Also a terrible spot.

Everyone arguing about Boldin or Bryant or Ward etc. does realize that it's completely different to drop a block on someone down the field than it is to line up on the line and block a DE or blitzing linebacker, yes?

Hell most running backs can't even do that and they're usually a lot more hefty than a WR, though they lose the height/reach battle most of the time.

That stat was pulled from an article written in 2012, so Green wasn't included in the study I was referring to so maybe he is next on that list?

But just looking quickly......when you factor in that that Wallace put up insane numbers with only 285 targets his first 3 years vs Green who had 460 targets......Wallace with an even number of targets would probably have blown Greens numbers out of the water if you look at production relative to targets. But then again, Hines Ward was playing all those years so they spread the ball around.....kind of apples and oranges but its still impressive that Wallace was in an elite group like that regardless.

Yeah, I think Buffalo would be the best option. Rex, McCoy saying that Chip Kelly is a racist, etc.

Washington would be kinda interesting I guess. What could be the last year of RGIII, Dan Snyder sticking his nose in everything.

Houston would just be a J.J. Watt circle-jerk coupled with a bland, milquetoast quarterback competition.

Oh well. Of course, nothing is final yet.

Houston is a finalist to be on the HBO show, according to ESPN sources and reports. The Bills, who could opt out due to having a new coach, are not interested in appearing on the show, nor are the Redskins (via ESPN's Mike Rodak and John Keim).

He probably got more targets in the first place because he was better.
