The "what fans are saying" is always the best part of those.

Less than a month from the first preseason game. I always get amped for football and watch maybe the first quarter of the first preseason game and then I remember how much preseason sucks.

I like watching my team and seeing the rookies and camp bodies and bubble players. It still sucks but its a reason to watch, get to know some of the new players.

I did that for a few years and then I stopped caring because all but like 2 guys get cut, and they're inevitably the ones I'd never even heard of.

We're 3 weeks away from Hard Knocks 2015: The JJ Show.

If the NFL starts basing playoff berths on record regardless of division placement... what is the purpose of divisions?

If im the Dolphins, I'm thinking why the hell do I have to play the Patriots twice a year to compete for a spot?

At the very least they can do seeding based on record while still keeping the 4 + 2 format. Pretty shitty when the Lions and Cards both went 11-5 last year and the Panthers with a mighty 7-9 record in the worst division ever (and I'm saying this as a Bucs fan, so I know!) get the 4th seed over them.

Edit: Sorry, the Panthers were 7-8-1
