It's a horrible idea from what I've seen. The bleacher seats have no wall enclosing them from the wind. This is St. Louis, not Tampa.

The news is reporting that having a stadium plan in the works gives them leverage against the owner, whom by a clause in the by-laws, has to negotiate with the city in 'good faith'. The city is delusional.

Played a big part in our build up from 06-09 to win the superbowl. Also they wanted to keep him around so badly in 2013 that we actually created a new position for him as a promotion. He essentially took over 2 jobs (college scouting and pro scouting) because it got combined in to one and that was his promotion. Prior to that they were separate roles.

There was a story going around that he wanted to retire for a while now. Every time he'd bring it up to Tomlin he'd tell Lebeau to "sleep on it and see me tomorrow if you still feel that way" and Dick never came back the next day.

This doesn't sound quite like the amicable ride in to the sunset that we expected though. The real telling part will be seeing if they name Keith Butler the new DC, he's sort of been LeBeau's understudy for years now and viewed as the heir apparent.
