If you get weird strobing effects while you play, its a bad install of video graphics driver. I had that problem with other games on my nvidia 1080 ti, after getting sick of that shit after 2-3 driver updates I ran the DDU tool (display driver uninstall) which does a full and clean uninstall of your video drivers, and then installed the latest. That fixed everything for me.

One of the reasons I despise PC gaming, every fucking week there is a new nvidia driver update and after a few of them everything ends up fucked up. I'm playing Div 2 on the xbox because I can just play and zero issues, I do own the game on PC (AMD rewards) and if I like the game enough I'll replay on PC.

Nahh, I never have those problems on my PC. And I barely keep up with the latest drivers. Youre making it sound like PC gaming is some kind of a chore or some shit. While I just install and play with 99% no issues.

The last time I had issues was when I got BF5 and it really showed the age of my processor and it was chugging. But before that it was a worry free 4 yrs of gaming on that thing. I since upgraded and its better than ever.

Yeah I only ever install drivers about once every 3 - 6 months, when a new game I get comes out, and actually has benefit from the new driver, like increased performance. Although that blinking light thing looks kinda cool. If that was a Christmas DLC outfit, I'd shell out a few bucks for it at Christmas time, haha.

I used to run with AR and LMG, but lately I like the DMR style of plinking heads while they peak out from cover, way more effective than just spray and pray Iwas doing with LMG, like you said at those rank 3 control points its better to keep distance and slowy work your way in. AR is nice to burn down the rushers, and dmr plink away the rest of the prairie dogs.

Do you know what's up with the control point levels? I was doing them last night and I'd get about to the end of the first phase and I'd see a message that the level had dropped (I think it happens when a new event or convoy attached to that CP spawns). But when I check the UI it still says +3 and at the end I was getting a BP. So I guess it doesn't actually mean anything?

General PSA to everyone working their way to WT4, if you get a high-end D50 pistol SAVE IT. I believe they don't start dropping until something like WT2, but you will need one to craft the exotic pistol, Liberty. Sidearm drops are rare to begin with and the D50 seems to be super rare on top of that; I still have never seen one drop. Even if you think sidearms are shitty because they made the weapon-swap-speed for them crazy long compared to Div 1, you still want this gun as its holstered perk is one that refills 20% of your equipped weapon's magazine every time you destroy an enemy weak point.

Any idea on what the next specialization will be? 3 available now but I believe they are going to release more along the way? A tech type specialist (maybe get the dog drone, ability to hack enemy drones/turrets/etc) and a melee orientated one would be interesting lol.

Isn't the D50 the survivalist specialist weapon? probably need to be that spec to get them to drop?

The AI /NPC pathing combined with the level of detail to the world in this game is amazing. Just hit WT4 and I just want to run more missions! I think Massive really nailed it this time.

Looking forward to play with the PC FOHers :)

That's a unique D50 called "Survivalist D50" that is granted immediately after you take the perk (also bugged to be trash because it doesn't scale past basic bitch L30 gear score, but they're aware of that). Regular high end D50s drop just like the plain 93R and Diceros do no matter what spec you are. It's just that sidearms are rare, and D50 is a rare sidearm too.

Is level scaling broken? Had balboa from our clan join up randomly. We did a one mission and cleared it easily. He hit 24 I was still 22 and I proceeded to get one shot continually and die throughout the next two missions and my damage tanked out as well compared to what I was doing before.

Not to mention Nvidia still doesn't remove the prior download, taking up tons of space until you hunt down where those past downloads are saved.
PC gaming isn't a "huge" chore, and in the long run the pay off is worth it, no doubt that shit can be annoying.

Finally just got a GS444 one from a Hyena lockbox, so can definitely confirm you don't have to be Surv spec.

Yeah, that would be awesome lol. Like a tanky high armor melee build, maybe restrict to shotguns, smgs, sidearms, and a new weapon category, melee weapons, or something lol.

Sidearms are rare? What the fuck. More than 50% of my drops are pistols/short barrel shotguns. I tend to run shield, wonder if that affects things.

Hit 30 tonight, still have a ton of stuff to do. Have not finished the story line yet. Do all of the side missions and stuff go poof when the story swaps the map?
