I'd rate Bobby a lot higher but other than that I agree with that list completely. Ashford is the bigger loss.

My theory: Season 6 they get Peaches or Drummer to pilot the Rosi. Gives both characters a bit more to do. Drummer would have more piloting experience and be a better fit, but if they need her more for the Belter plot, then Peaches could be a better fit than someone like Bobbie (hand wave away and say some shit like "my sister wasn't the only one who could pilot a ship" or whatever).

I was thinking of the main characters (that are still alive), but yeah, on the bigger list, I would only change Bobby to around the middle of the pack (and #1 would be a coin flip between Amos and Miller (when Miller was in the show).

I think there should be a differentiation made between Miller and ProtoMiller.....
Book Miller isn't obsessed with Julie, he's obsessed with finally doing something right in an attempt to fix himself after realizing how much of a useless piece of shit he was. Julie just serves as that outlet.
TV Miller doesn't have that part of him fleshed out, and so it comes across as an aging guy obsessed with a young woman, possibly due to the influence of the protomolecul

Ending the show on book 6 is fine and honestly that book felt like a solid finale in the sense that still had dangling threads to continue the story later, but enough closure to leave you more or less satisfied.
In a way, you can consider books 1-6 the main original story, and 7 and onward the sequel.
