Grabbed me a Spicy CH'King sandwich for first lunch. It's clearly not as good as popeyes or chik-fil-a, but it's not a complete failure like the McD horror. The biggest pro is that the chicken piece is very generous, and that was the thing that kept it in the win column. The breading wasn't as good as their competition. The heat came from a sauce rather than being in the breading, which made it made it weirdly sloppy compared to the almost perfect car food that is the chik-fil-a sandwich. And it obviously was scienced together rather than being a hunk of meat. It did the job and gets a passing score for me.
Second lunch I hit up a new quesadilla chain called dillas. Got the lonestar, gorilla fries, and a chicken dillas, plus all of their sauces. Lonestar was excellent. Brisket and other flavors were perfectly cooked and mixed nicely. The chicken one was also good. The real grand slam was their queso. I dunno what they did to it, but I could probably just eat their queso with a spoon for a meal. All the sauces were solid good, with the churri being a nice standout. Only thing that fell a bit short were the fries. Nicely seasoned, but I prefer them to have a little crisp on the edge. With how good their queso is, I'll probably just opt for chips in the future.
