That video led me to this one, which I thought was pretty good. If you don't want to spend 20 minutes on it, the main point is that we are so trained that eating should be done with no planning and no time investment and preferably without getting out of the car between work and various other activities, that even though the food is bad, slow, and expensive and the restaurants are completely stripped of fun, we will still line up to the trough with our credit cards out like the stupid pigs we are. I wish it was less true.

I used to drive by a mcdonald that had a caboose built into it. Business 121 lewisville. Their burgers were also hands down the best mcdonald's burgers in the area, I'm 99% sure because they had an older griddle that was hotter than normal, so they got a tiny bit of char.

I only went back once after they remodeled, their burgers tasted like every other McD after. SHAME.
