The current issue de jour is she posted some thing about Nazis and how it wasn’t just the nazis who were complicit in the killing of Jewish people, but also the neighbors who were made to hate them based on nazi propaganda. Then immediately her next story was on some California mask rule. So basically trying to equate anti maskers with the Holocaust victims was the perception

The history thing is accurate, yes. But if the intention was to draw parallels with that and some whiny Karens, then that’s fucking stupid.

It's a bit of an extreme example, but I think she was just pointing to like the people turning on family and friends to narc them out nowadays.

She honestly isn't being very smart about what battles she is choosing to fight and how she communicates her views about those battles, though. Like for instance she could have used the 1970s Body Snatchers remake if she wanted to troll about the example you noted above.

She can probably get away with poking the bear a few times, but eventually she is going to misjudge and poke it in the eye and Disney bear will maul her lol.

she's just having fun with those people, she isnt saying anythig that should be controversial. and she is a woman, you really cant expect her to act like a dude with logic and stuff.

They can only do so much. The second you start implying "genocide of millions = people being mean to conservatives", it is going to be extremely difficult to play rodeo clown and defuse the situation, especially when you have a history of toeing over the line and poking the bear.

I mean maybe she wanted this? Not sure why, she basically loses out on the Disney gravy train and it sort of poisons the Hollywood well. Maybe she doubles down on hoping she can do well in the conservative space. And maybe she can (she is charismatic and seems to get along well with co-workers for the most part), but I doubt it would be in film/TV acting unless you want to star in the type of Z-grade schlock that Kevin Sorbo and Kirk Cameron are doing lol
