I got a Victoria 20112 amp which is basically a late 50’s Fender Tweed Deluxe 5e3 with a some modern improvements like a better speaker and half power switch. Decided on this over a 12” champ clone for home use. Despite having some of the most archaic and unintuitive volume and tone control this amp sounds insanely good for its niche. Beautiful cleans to amazing rolling stone and Neil young tweed tone. I plugged my acoustic into it and it sounded really nice as well. I’m fucking thrilled with this amp. Only negative so far is getting up into distorted tones, even with the half power switch, is still a little too loud for home use.
Try an OD pedal?

I've got a few toneprint pedals I like quite a bit so this is really interesting to me. Price is supposed to be around $400 or so which seems very reasonable.

FX include Hall Of Fame 2 Reverb, Flashback 2 Delay, Sub n Up Octaver, Brainwaves Pitch Shifter, Corona Chorus, Hypergravity Compressor, Mimiq Doubler, Vortex Flanger, Pipeline Tap Tremolo, Quintessence Harmony, Sentry Noise Gate, Shaker Vibrato

Busted out my Les Paul for the first time in years. Damn thing sounds amazing. Unplayable due to frets though. This is the year I do it

Are you saying your frets are shot or LP frets in general? I feel the exact same way about my Les Paul but just that I don’t care for the low frets anymore. Since I’ve gotten my Suhr Standard with it’s the main guitar I play and it now impossible to go back to the low frets on my LP.

My frets are basically completely flat/gone on it, causes some frets to be entirely out of tune even though the guitar is tuned. Might even replace them with stainless steel like my kiesel

I just bought my first vintage amp. I walked into a local store and they had a ‘68 Vibro Champ there for $950 in good condition, said he’d take $700 for it. It sounded great and I need a clean amp for home use so why the fuck not. Still has the 2 prong electric cord. You guys think I should change it to 3 prong?

Couldn't hurt as long as you can put it back to spec later on if you were to sell it.

Need a mic for vocals. Any recommendations that wont break the bank?

Are Shure SM58s still the standard for good and affordable? I'd assume that hasn't changed too much

Edit -- yeah what Noodz said

I have a '66 Vibro Champ (blackface) and I never changed it. Got it in fantastic condition. Still has the original Russian tubes. Only had to change the speaker. Never play the amp anymore since I got my Orange TH30. I've considered selling it over the years, but I'd rather keep it than get like $1,200 for it.
