I have mixed feeling on this, I didn't like the first one, not the characters, story or anything in it. On the other hand I like what James Gunn did with Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2. So I don't know if Gunn can make this interesting at this point.

I don't care too much either way, as I said I don't personally like the Suicide Squad characters so I don't have any investment in this. If it's good I'll see, if it's not I won't and I won't be mad or disappointed about it.

Same here, the first was horrible but I like Gunn and really want to see what he can do with something like this.

I am not sure I can reliably recall any single extended scene from the first movie that isn't just from a trailer.

I think that line is my review of the first movie.

So, yeah. Who gives a shit. Will watch Part 2 on some bored winter day if it is on Netflix. Otherwise, whatevs.

Lies. Movies hit Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu/Disney/whatthefuckever so fast anymore tons of shit gets played while gaming, that you'd never visit the theater for.

Suicide Squad sucked... bad!

Gunn had a home run with GOTG. But GOTG2 was a hot, stinking mess. Maybe the rule will be reversed with SS, but I doubt it. Who the fuck cares about any of those characters? The best part of the movie was Margot Robbie in short shorts with a bare midriff. If that didn't exist, the movie was intolerable. That's not a lot of substrate to build on (unless you're making porn).

I think I would rather see Wonder Woman 2 and that isn't saying much, since THAT trailer was painful, but at least I could try to give a shit about about Wonder Woman.

Harley Quinn Birds of Prey makes minor references to Suicide Squad, so will this Suicide Squad reboot be AFTER Harley Quinn or will it all just pretend neither previous movie exists? So dumb and weird, we're rebooting 4 year old movies now lol
