Thunderbolts is the best damn MCU movie ever made and if you don't agree, you probably clap when the plane lands and think mayonnaise is spicy. It's the first Marvel flick in years that doesn’t feel like it was written by a team of TikTok interns trying to appeal to suburban wine moms and Reddit mods with panic disorders.

This movie actually has grit. Real stakes. Characters that aren't walking Pinterest boards of trauma and quirk. No multiverse bullsh\*t, no CGI vomit-fests, no lectures about being your best self. Just a bunch of lunatics barely holding it together and somehow still being more interesting than 90% of the Disneyfied superheroes clogging up the franchise like cholesterol in Kevin Feige’s arteries.

If you didn't like it, it's because your brain flatlined sometime around Phase 4 and you only respond to shiny colors and cameos now. Go back to rewatching *Love and Thunder* and pretending Taika didn’t turn Thor into a brain-damaged birthday clown. Thunderbolts slapped, and you’d know it if you weren’t still spoon-feeding yourself nostalgia and soy.

Super soldiers are still pretty low on the superhero ladder right? Just humans with a little extra strength. Granted they go toe to toe with gods whenever the script calls for it.

The concept of a "superhero ladder" has always been flawed. Superhero-fights always end exactly as the story demands it and every superhero ever written can both lose and win to every other superhero ever written at all times. There is no ranking.

This is absolutely correct; it is the reason they will have Magento pull out Wolverine's metal skeleton when the plot demands it, but not the very first time they meet as adversaries.

Thunderbolts sucks harder than a black hole with daddy issues. It’s the MCU’s laziest, dumbest, most forgettable trash heap yet. Every character feels like a rejected side quest NPC, the plot was written during a bathroom break, and the humor? It's like TikTok wrote the script.

If you actually liked this movie, congrats—you’re the reason Hollywood thinks we're all drooling idiots who’ll clap at anything with a Marvel logo.

Do not be of concern. We might disagree some about Thunderbolts, but everything will come back together for the next movie. The one I have no intention whatsoever of watching on any format.

Why wouldnt you clap when your plane lands, as a token of a job well done to the pilot? Im a clapper.

I just tip them 10% of my fare.

Do you clap for your uber driver when he drops you off? He'd probably punch you in the mouth if you clapped and didn't tip.

It has more to do with the perceived complexity and dangerousness of piloting an airplane. so i thank them for not killing me.

Now that our kids are old enough to leave at home the missus and I take vacations and I am astonished at the people clapping. Why? Because we didn’t die? Do you clap when the bus driver gets you to your resort safely because you are vastly more likely to die in that trip than you are the one by plane.

Even worse are the fucking retards who start clapping just because someone else did.

The only reason they are releasing this is because it's in the can and been on the shelf like 2-3 years. I am sure if they hadn't of dumped too much money in it they would have erased it.

They filmed last year. That is an entirely normal turnaround time.

Those were reshoots or possibly to fix continuity since it got shelved for a bit.

Filming for the Disney+ series "Ironheart" took place between May and November of 2022. Principal photography began in June at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, and then moved to Chicago in late October 2022. The series wrapped filming in early November of 2022, though additional photography was reported to occur from February to April 2024.
