I'm sure its been linked before, but I thought I would link it again just in case.http://www.filebot.net/It allows you to instantly rename your torrents to whatever format you want (s01e01, etc). Took me 10 minutes to do all of my TV shows to prep them for my Plex server. Would have taken 10 hours by hand.

I don't remember that one being linked before either. I currently use tinyMediaManager, and love it, but I'm going to check that one out too. If it has any sort of automation I will be interested in it, as tMM pretty much requires you to direct it to do things. Which isn't bad, but more automation is always better (if it works).

Usenet users are so spoiled by Sickbeard. lol
Sickbeard isn't just for usenets though. Just tell it the download folder. I think a concern with it was that it deletes the old files, and renames them into the new organized folders, but I'm pretty sure there is a setting you can set to have it retain original files.

Is Couch Potato better then Popcorn time? because Popcorn time is perfect imho
The only thing I dislike is it isn't an app on smart devices, or rokus.

As far as I know, Couch Potato just automates the process of grabbing movies. You tell it what movies, and what quality you are looking for, and as soon as they are posted up, it grabs them.
My beef with it is that there are so many varying qualities that are posted, that a movie in 720p can have 6 different posts, all with different sizes. Not sure if Couch Potato lets you specify a file size, but usually 3-5gb per movie is what I like to watch. 720p BR Rips is usually what I get.
It's just hard to automate that when unlike TV shows there isn't a consistent format.

If anyone is looking to diversify their torrent site portfolio, PirateTheNet has opened up their external application for invites. It is a movie tracker that is pretty easy to get ratio on. It isn't the mega-site like IPT is, nor does it have the same level of super-rare selections that PassThePopcorn does, but they'll typically get any current movie that you're looking for. And they have a bonus point system that makes buying extra upload credit pretty easy even if you never have much luck seeding because you don't have a seedbox. I typically just leave a torrent or two from them up at all times, and right now I have enough bonus points to buy over 200GB of upload.

I will continue to use and abuse IPT until it dies and not feel bad. The point system doesn't bother me because it actually makes it even easier for me to rape them than before. Without earning another bonus point or uploading a single byte, or using any of my existing upload credit, I could zap almost 1000 torrents. I might as well, right? You can't take 'em with you!

Game of Thrones episodes are STUPID for ratio. If anyone hasn't jumped on those already, get on it, and work that ratio.
Just search for game of thrones, around 9:45-10:00pm eastern on Sunday nights, and grab it as soon as it's posted. Will roll in that ratio.

So I've mentioned maybe briefly before that one thing Torrents are good at are the compilations. Whether that's the top 10 movies of 2013, or one time I saw on IPT the top 100 mind fuck movies of all time. What are some of you guys favorite compiles that you've picked up? Other than say the entire series of Saprono's or something.

You mean other than porn, right? Because porn compilations are not only a goldmine for ratio (since they are almost always freeleech), but they are a goldmine for my peenor as well if I find one that suits my interests.
You know, now that I try to actually think of a serious answer, I can't. If I rule out TV series, music discographies, and porn, the only ones left are typically Various Artist compilations and things like that 100 Mindfuck movies you mentioned. And I almost never download any of those because I am not only picky about the formats and qualities I download that many movies/songs in, but I also typically download specifically what I want. If it happens to be in a pack like that and nowhere else, I'll probably just download that file out of the pack. Oh yeah, same thing with books now too. I have downloaded several mega torrents of books, but for the most part they sit there untouched because they are terribly formatted or there are thousands of books I don't want to take the time to sort through. So now I just download the ones I want.
