She took a real hard stance against porn when she quit. Refuses to acknowledge she even did it

Assume that counts out plastering her body with my name

You guys are fucking mean. Right, but mean.

Anyway I watched like 2 minutes of one of her streams and it was pretty obvious she was all Xanax'ed out. Not surprising to hear that description of her gameplay. That was me in my twenties playing jrpgs.

Because her streams were getting better by leaps and bounds. Of course, that has only to do with technical shit, lighting, sound, etc. It just appears that she has hit a brick wall, and taken her entire stream along for the ride. I haven't been watching anybody as of late.

Twitch has this weird phenomenon where people who don't like a stream will watch it, and just bitch about it in chat.

Have turned down additional modding end of last year. When asked why it was simple. More and more I don't even open chat. I full screen it out. Since I mostly watch RP( not GTA F that game ) I have little interest in what others in chat are saying. Some bitch, some troll, some meta, and what's left is usually people so full of themselves it is worse than the bitchers and trolls combined. I'm sure, actually I know, there is some good people in every chat, but I am there for the streamer/content.

Course just like my gaming the past month, I only have about 1 hour watching twitch for Feb due to health.

I will say the lack of solid games on twitch seems to be at a all time high. Here is to hoping 2020 has some cool shit that lasts more than a week. It's been pretty slow as far as my tastes are concerned.

Saw this shit and what a fucking bitch ass faggot. BOOHOO I was making millions of dollars playing WoW but I didn't like to "creater" I became. Also I hope everyone who called themselves a "creater" gets shot in face with a double barrel. Then he goes on to whine about how his purchases whore and him got mean comments from the internet. Goddamn these entitled cocksuckers need some perspective in their fucking lives.

I have a better gaming system than 90% of twitchers and I certainly have the time to plug at it, but oddly enough my time modding for streamers is how I went from thinking it was a dream job to never firing up a stream in my life and instead I just play with various streamers.
Why? Because I seen first hand why a twitch streamer in some forms is worse than a prison sentence.
Imagine being a roleplayer for example and you enjoy it. You like the game, you like the people, you like the roleplay.

2 weeks later, big drama happens, people are shitting on you trying to steal your income, thots are thoting on your stream literally sucking dry the dude who gave you donos.

1 month later, ok this is getting a bit stale but bills are due. I look forward to logging in 7 days a week 10+ hours a day now playing a game I am bored of and people that piss me off, but I have to do it for the fams!

6 months later, ok this game fucking sucks. I hate my life, I want to murder anything that is breathing and especially any pixel. I literally get a migraine logging in.

2 years later, goddamn, I should have stuck to selling used cars. Why have I done this. I not only hate the game and this select groups of people, but I feel like shit now too. Pretty sure my legs rotted away last year but got to pay those bills and keep these fans happy. I tried to play a different game for 3 days but I lost 50% of my income and people said hateful shit to me.

4 years later. Streamerbob has killed himself. You can have his things after burial.

I think that is a big problem with "professional" streamers who stick to one game or one genre. It's why I prefer small time hobby streamers who just stream whatever the fuck they want to play and don't give a shit about the viewers. You can tell that the latter are just having a good time, while for the formers you're watching them do a job.

Streaming sounds great until you realize that until you have 1000+ subs and frequent donos you're better off with a normal job money wise. To get that kind of viewership you have to put in a LOT of time and effort and suffer through playing the same game for thousands of hours, probably 6 or 7 days a week for months straight to keep viewers. Now if I was pulling in the kind of money that the big boys do (Summit, Doc, Lirik, Shroud, Ninja, etc) I could probably stomach it but these guys that do it full time and only have a few hundred subs? Fuck that, I work in aviation and can get $35/hr pretty much anywhere in the country and I don't even have a degree. Thanks Air Force for actually preparing me for the job market without even trying to.

Yeah I'm always confused by the full-time streamers that always have arkund <1000 viewers and their sub counts indicate minimum wage . Not a good life choices

Well you have to start somewhere, the way the business work it's just something you have to build over a long period of time unless you're a very special type of person(famous pro player for one of the few esports games that have high viewership), so you have to grind the terrible hours+pay to MAYBE get to the easy job, but you have no job security so you can't really relax once you get there until you've made A LOT of money since that shit's not lasting forever either. Looks pretty fucking stressful besides the very few successful streamers that can also do variety streaming with no big change in their viewership, so they can just pick up whatever game they want to play and play that.

It's a terrible choice for a job tbh and unless you luck out when doing it as your hobby I'm not sure it'd be worth investing in. Although for some people if they can get paid minimum wage while playing their favorite game, it's a good deal, until the game isn't their favorite game anymore.

Mark Cuban made an excellent point regarding streaming. The time investing is not worth it financially unless your one of those streamers bringing in loads of money monthly. He got alot of flack for it but honestly he is correct. The amount of hours some of these streamers put in a week is not the ideal job especially around my age. I'm 48 and no way in hell I could play a game for 8 to 10 hours or more daily. I use to be able to do it in my 20s and to a point in my 30s but now no way in hell. It catches up with you physically and mentally.

Now do that 6 days a week for the rest of your life for $12/hr.

There are some really idiotic stories you hear about streamers switching from successful, promising careers to stream because it was their "passion". Jdotb has a law degree and was a corporate attorney and now he's a mid 30's loser living in his friend's basement.
