But it sort of makes sense.

In order to be a Creationist you have to reject biology.

In order to think Trannyism is somehow 'good'.... you also have to reject biology.

The complete rejection of biology, wholesale. It's the one thing that the Commies and the Fundies both have in common.

It's sort of like the alliance of Feminism and Islam. They disagree on literally every single thing imaginable, except they agree that Western Culture is the worst thing on Earth.

It's as Orwell said. People do not unite over things they love, they unite over things they hate. Socialists do not unite over the love of the poor, they unite over the hatred of the rich.

Feminists and Islamists both hate Western Society, thus they are united in their hate. Trannys and Fundies both hate Biology, thus they are united in their hate.

Some of them might think this way, but I'd argue that biology makes a lot more sense to support as one than creationism does. Biology allows for irregularities, and if gender dysphoria is an actual thing (haven't looked into it, don't really care) it can be accounted for through it. It's neither good nor bad, just what is. God fucking up in his design or intentionally causing it for shits & giggles is not something one should want to support or believe if they're the victims of it, especially since it requires blind faith to achieve.

Probably just comes from too heavy a dose of delusion across the board.

There is a Christian Church near me called 'Christ The King' with a Rainbow Flag waving on it's pole, a BLM lawn sign on both of it's corner lawns, and a lit sign-board that says "Open and Progressive".

There is one thing that all of those various signs can agree on: Biology is kryptonite.

Yeah, a lot of the churches in my area always have virtue signalling signs out as well. I guess they're trying to convince younger more "open" folks that they're really accepting.

Fair point. Biology does allow for irregularities.

To account for these irregularities means someone would have to absorb and nuance these all in detail. But as we've seen, it is much more easy to simply cast the spell 'Summon Sky Daddy' and be done with it.

Nessa is a creationist because it provides a core of stability in instability. It flows perfectly well with the idea of supremacy of self. I don't mean vanity. The emotional appeal of creationism is that all this was created to purpose. That's it, it doesn't have to be complex.

It makes perfect sense why Vanessa would be a creationist. And honestly I attribute his stability to it. Not the dogma of creationism, but the stability that adherence to a dogma like that provides.

It can be changed. Just don't change it too quickly. You will want to change it. Creationism ultimately will fail you. Keep the baby, toss out the bathwater.

It's weird to me, I guess that cognitive bias is kind of the duality of man or whatever. But I never understand how a person can be like all rah rah rah facts and data, especially these edgelord "fuck your feelings" people, and then in the same breathe talk about faith in god or religion and not see the fundamental breakdown in logic there. Or more likely, choose to ignore it.

Sometimes reason fails. It may be that MY reason fails, and it's a personal weakness. Maybe I'm a lot dumber than I think. That's both possible and likely. Or it may be that reality is such that there are times when reason itself is a bad tool.

Edit: it's when you start talking about how many angels will fit on the head of a pin that I think you've gone completely stupid with it. I mean yeah it can get really, really, really dumb. Like creationism. 5,000 years ago that was some advanced thinking. And I mean that. I re-read the Gita from time to time to remind me of how not completely retarded it actually is. It's been a minute though.

I was thinking just these days if there's market for "special tea bags" for vampires. You know. Used tampons. Maybe label them "Gamer girl used tampons" (because my gf plays games, so technically, she's a gamer girl) and put some on a website. 80$ for the small, 120$ for the large one :p
