The series looks like shit in the trailer. How could anyone think that this was a good premise?

Also hilarious how they forgot that Wanda was Sokovian and her accent is completely gone now. Dont forget how thickly she used to lay it on in Age of Ultron along with her brother.

I enjoyed the first 2 episodes. I like what they did with the TV genres. The cheap commercials they put in were lol as well. They gave us some Stark and Baron Strucker Easter eggs. Since the audience doesn't know about Scarlet Witches reality alteration powers yet, this is a good way to interpret them.

Also these sitcom type episodes are only half the season apparently. It will morph into modern MCU later in the season. The episodes are supposed to be a little longer as well.

Feige explained that they slowly ditched the accent and said it was Wanda just trying to fit in.

Its extremely hard to change an accent, its almost impossible to LOSE an accent as an adult, and if your native language isn't originally a branch of a language who's accent you're trying to imitate, then it is IMPOSSIBLE. You could probably pick up a British accent as a native American, but good luck speaking Russian without an accent as an American, or vice versa.

Wanda is from an Eastern European country of Sokovia, speaking a Slavic language, that is written in Cyrillic alphabet (as you can tell by watching the signs and billboards in last act of Age of Ultron). Her speaking flawless English is nonsense.

Secret agent training to speak English when she is a mind controlling witch?

Might be just easier to say, "yeah it was stupid but we couldnt have her speaking in that accent for the rest of her career" rather than doing mental gymnastics

It's a show about a character who can fundamentally warp reality. Losing an accent shouldn't be outside the realm of possibilities here.
