Oil is only what gas is made from. Everything else goes up as well. Transportation, workers on site/oil fields, workers at a refinery etc...Same stuff everyone else complains about the price of is factored in along the way. In the grand scheme of things oil is cheap now at $66/barrel this morning. Gas is around $2.30/gallon in Houston when I cam through the other day. Of course TX and other gulf states have the lowest gas tax. At least Exxon appears to have the board back under control after an excursion of wanting to build a carbon capture to service the entire gulf coast.

Lithium was a big boom I sold some rights for and soon as I did the price fell like a rock off a table and has remained there. Not sure if that is related to electric car downturn on lithium from who knows where. Some things you win, some you lose. Mostly just staying afloat.

The mega hottie engineer we hired last month decided to take the desk that's right next to/shares a wall with my favorite shitter in the office. All the young guys stopped using it now. Lol.
